An early breakfast and a long journey

An early breakfast in the hotel at 7am before heading to the Mekong Delta.

Even by car, it took us a couple of hours and we stopped by this Mekong Rest Stop to stretch a little and use the facilities. There were sales of handicrafts, food stuff and lovely art pieces at the shops. I found the huge pond of Lotus behind the rest stop really beautiful!
