Dec 31st, 2010

It’s the end of the year again. Another reminder how life is fleeting and how blessed I have been. I had a gorgeous 2010 and though changes are ever constant, my love ones are never far and for that I’m really grateful. In the new year ahead, I intend to spend more time with friends and family. It is the ties that bind me that makes me stronger.  While everyone is hoping to be more successful and have bigger and better things, my hope for 2011 is for simple happiness. I don’t need much and in fact, believe I should strive to be contented with even less! I want to fill my life with the people that matter.

Wishing all of you a Happy 2011 and may all your endeavors be successful.

I leave you here with a simple outfit of the day.

I agree with your outlook in life.

The best city to live in is still SimpliCITY.

Family and friends are LIVING beings. Things are NON-living. When the non-living displaces the living, we cease to live a happy life.

This FUNdaMENTAL principle of a happy life brings more FUN and less MENTAL stress.

    Have a blessed 2011… 🙂

would a simple life mean, simple pleasures? so how does luxury goods count as being simple?

      j,

If you read the entire sentence, it states that it’s my hope for 2011. Besides I haven’t bought luxury goods for myself in quite awhile because I believe my current collection is more than I can personally handle. Enjoy your 2011.

Our hearts have a VOID that can only be filled with something LIVING. NOT something dead, like THINGS.

That’s why your volunteering in the rural school in Indonesia will give you far more satisfaction and bring you more rewarding memories than any LUXURY goods that you possess.

The more you want to possess things, the more they possess YOU.

    Have a Blessed 2011!

    Happy new year!

I don’t see why people should nitpick at the things you say. It’s your own life. Stay strong 🙂 And I like your Chanel shoes. I saw a woman wearing the black and white version, minus the ribbon (and the CC logo was in gold) yesterday. Are they comfortable?

      Xiaoqi,

Thanks! So far I’ve found the Chanel flats rather comfortable. I bought mine in europe which cater for narrower feet so it fits better.
