I still prefer you with long hair! Why don’t you try a short bob, but with a long fringe instead? That might suit you more 🙂
PS. May i know where you got your dress? I’ve been looking for something like that for the longest time!

I don’t use any hair curler for my permed hair… only when my hair is straight. You can try using Bed Head Small Talk by TIGI… it’s the only cream I’ve used though not consistently.

agree with you totally, life is short, so live fully. Sky Diving was fun but if you preferred calming and silent, than scuba diving is better. Sky diving a bit loud and also the adrenalin leaves you breathless everytime you jumped off the plane. Scuba not only calm and ease also able to be memorized by the beauty of the underwater world.

Hi Karen,
Your dogs are so beautifully groomed. Do you need to do any grooming on Louis, in between visits to the groomer? I’m trying to learn more about Cocker Spaniels as I’m hoping to adopt my friend’s cocker spaniel when the family moves back to US. Currently, I have a silky terrier but grooming a silky is very easy! I’ll be abit lost, as I’m not sure if I know how to groom a cocker spaniel!

Renzze
March 16, 2009 / 3:39 am
scooby – thanks. Louis actually does basic shaving of his paws and cutting of nails between his visits to the groomer. Cocker tends to be very affectionate and need more attention though. And you should take them out often or they’ll easily become couch potatoes.

Do you have any sunblock or handcream to recommend? Tries a few but don’t find them good enough. Thanks.
Renzze
April 14, 2009 / 2:18 pm
hazel, I love L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream. It’s fabulous and works well. It usually takes less then 10 mins for it to fully absorb. If you want to go all out… Le Mer Hand cream is divine, just too expensive! For sunblock, I’m actually using sunscreens these days. The best one I’ve had is Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen Sensitive but I got that in the states. Locally, the Clarins UV Plus Day Screen High Protection SPF 40 works pretty well for me. Regardless of which brand on sunblock or sunscreen used, you should reapply it often if you do not want to be burnt.

J, anyone can be a photographer be it friends, family or a self timer camera! If I’m out with friends we’ll take photos and videos for each other… but out of respect for their privacy ( the internet can be a scary place), I don’t always post pictures of all my friends or family.

Min, This time I went to a salon called dears at Ikebukuro… it’s all pink and opens 24 hours… but unfortunately I only know how to get there by memory and do not have the addy. You can also try the hair salon at the top floor of 109 in shibuya! I love them as well. When I was there the weather was still on the chilly side but it should have warmed up a bit. The day was perfect but A jacket is a must for the night especially if you have low tolerance to cold.

Min
May 29, 2009 / 9:44 pm
Greetings from Tokyo!!!!!!!!! I am so pissed with myself…. thinking that dears is at a 24 hr mall called Paw … i went over by cab… can’t find and end up taking a round trip cab costings 6000 YEN!!!!!!!!!!! Painful lesson… argh… wanted to save time by going to 24 hour store when nothing to do end night ends up being stupid….. any direction you can provide to lead me to the right salon?
Renzze
May 29, 2009 / 11:03 pm
Min, Gosh! Sorry to hear about what happened! I don’t have the Ikebukuro salon addy as I only know how to walk there physically from the train station. You could go to the Shibuya 109 one on regular hours or if you really want a 24 hours one, I’ve got another place that I’ve visited previously. It’s called DaDa Cubic and their addy is 1F Shibuyamitake Bldg. 1-19-5 Shibuya. Here’s their number in case you can’t find them. 03-5766-8282 They are really good but it’ll be good to give them a call first since the last time I visited them was a year ago. Taking a cab in japan is just so expensive!!!! It may just pay to go from 9pm ( when the shops close) to 11pm++ to be able to catch the last train… unless your hotel is within walking distance.

Hi. I’ve read your Hong Kong travels stuff. Can I check from the Hong Kong Disneyland, we can get to the Hong kong disneyland hotel too?
Renzze
May 30, 2009 / 6:16 pm
Passerby, You can get from disneyland to the disneyland hotel… by foot it takes about 15 to 20mins… or you can take the resort shuttle from the Disneyland Resort Public Transport Interchange which is about 3 mins walk from the park.

hi renzee, just wondering how long it took u to toilet train ur dogs?
Renzze
June 1, 2009 / 9:12 pm
Barley, Both my dogs were outdoor trained almost after a few days but I wanted my dogs to learn how to do their business indoors as well so they won’t have to hold their bladder till someone takes them out or for those rainy months. For indoor training, my male cocker, Louis, took about 10 weeks and my female pom, Emmie, took only 3-4 weeks.

Dont wait my dear.. dont make it happen like my sis and all my friends… they waited, wanted couplehood.. no money.. no time..etc, now they are frantically trying but to no avail. Worst thing is, my friends go for the IVF jab. each jab costs her S$5000. To date she’s done 3 jabs.. so no chance.. and can you imagine the time and money spent? $15000 for “trying a baby”..

You worry bout skinny problems.. if you are even concern then do you know that the older you have kids, the more health problems you will get? so its up to you. Dont prevent or delay.. If you have, praise the lord for the gift. Its just a piece of my kind advice.

Tks renzee, guess i need to hv more patience with my doggies 🙂 Btw abt ur weight issues…don’t fret cos I’m like u, off the ideal BMI. I think BMI is just a no. most impt is to be healthy, of course if fats can be distributed evenly then that’s a bonus *evil grin* I wish for that too.

Barley, with dogs, they need a lot of love , attention and patience but having them rewards you in so many ways! How old are your dogs?
Renzze
June 3, 2009 / 5:11 am
sannnz, sorry to hear about your memory card. Unfortunately, in my case, I didn’t accidentally format my card… just that the card got a little corrupted for some reason. My friend helped me retrieve the pictures before re-formatting the card. Once you reformat a card the photos are lost. And I know how painful that can be especially if the memories snapped are important.

Barley, How many doggies do you have and what breed? It can be a real handful dealing with more than one puppy! I almost bought a 2nd dog ( cocker mix goldie) when Louis was 3 mths… but the sensible side in me stopped me. Only when Louis turned 1 did i get Emmie.

June 16, 2009 / 11:32 am
Wendy, I absolutely agree with you! Yet at the same time I also feel that the people that you choose to help and serve should not be publicly blogged about. One must consider their feelings. A lot of them have a lot of pride and it doesn’t help that Singapore is not a very forgiving society. I like them to think that they are only in a bad phase for awhile and things will look better for them in the future without having anyone categorize them as the needy. Charity also happens on a day to day basis with people you meet… not just with organizations. In general I only put photos of other people when I’m sure they’ll be ok with public exposure ( my hubby’s pictures are almost never seen)… even if sometimes it means I end up with narcissistic posts with photos of no one else but me!!! And as for blogging about how much has been donated… well… that’s crude.

Ill have to agree with Renzze on that. While we might champion causes on our blogs, putting up pictures of yourself doing community work and “helping” people is rather distasteful. Showcasing ones philanthropic endeavors in a blog meant to entertain the senses might reek of self-justification as well, while a blog created purely for the purposes of campaigning causes would, in all honesty, not have very many readers would there. There would always be people with something to say. I think from her blog, it should be rather discernible that renzze is a well balanced and sensible girl

Kate, I’m doing research in developmental psychology… basically dealing with the back-end of research on children. well to each his own. i never thought you’d agree with me either. Perhaps it’s because i come from a very very poor background and there is nothing i could identify here. i support my family of 6 cos my parents are not able anymore. I do not envy you seriously. i am totally happy with myself. Just thought why this blog is rather skewed to materialistic pleasures only. though there is nothing wrong in enjoying either. We just don’t share the same pleasures in life. I am a MINDS school teacher anyway.

Wendy, I never thought of you or any readers of my blog as envious of anything. Envy does no one any good and the secret to happiness is contentment. It doesn’t matter how little or much you have if you cannot see the goodness. Life is about ups and downs and I wasn’t born with a golden spoon either. So while you might not be able to identify with my lifestyle it doesn’t mean I do not understand what it is like to be poor. Regardless of whether you are reading a mag or newspaper or book or a blog, you never know a person till you spend time with them so one should never rush judgements. I do think that your job as well as your undertakings to your family is very noble. And I’m sure that through what you have seen and experienced you have been blessed with many qualities no money can buy. In life there are ups too and when it’s time to enjoy… one should not feel guilty. Please don’t get offended with my viewpoint. It’s good to remember your roots and want to contribute back to society, but good deeds are better done silent. I’m sure you do not blog publicly about your struggles with your family or your students state of affairs because you value their feelings. Unfortunately, this blog was created to share my passion for fashion and traveling with friends instead of being a base for my personal philosophy or about the economics of the world…. this is the lifestyle section of the newspaper if you get my drift. A place for friendships and light heartedness.

I’d wanted to say this earlier but held my tongue as there had been no further remarks and didn’t wish to be disputatious. Blogs are as any editorial content, categorically disinclined to provide a rounded picture of a situation or personality. While i’m not saying that there are gems behind every seemingly mono-faceted personality, one must bear in mind that humans are as a whole more multi-faceted than they appear. While we appreciate that you may not identify with the contents of the blog, not everyone might have the same lifestyle or perhaps aspect of the lifestyle and that is perhaps what the blog’s greatest purpose is, to capture and share the delights of the whimsical and wonderful with the help of a good camera and a caption as memories have the nasty tendency to go nowhere but into the deep recesses of one’s own mind. I think the need for delight and joy to be spread into this world is perhaps equal to, if not more than sobering hum drum or incessant whining about life. And while readers with particular sensitivities about bag brands may direct attention to her paraphernalia, renzze isn’t particularly ostentatious about displaying them.

anyway yea, after reading through some of the long replies… hmmmm. well i think it’s usual for some who 1st come across this blog to find it “skewed to materialistic pleasures”… but i think one shouldn’t judge too quickly from mere blog entries, right? there are those who only write about emo stuff, while others who only want to share happy moments… but that doesn’t mean the former is permanently emo while latter has no woes at all, right? like, i don’t blog about work problems at all, doesn’t mean i have no problem at work. yea? yes, to each his/her own~ and if you know renzze personally, you’ll know that she’s a very sincere person, who happens to also know how to enjoy and maximize her life. if there’s one thing that i truly envy her for, it’s her time management!!!

Wendy, if you feel so uncomfortable to read Renzze’s blog, why read it in the first place and leave such unpleasant comments? I am a reader of this blog, & I do not know Renzze personally although I left some comments here & there, but I enjoy her every post. I also cannot have the lifestyle as her, but never in my mind, I feel “jealous” about it…. jojo, I’m quite blessed to have a job that is project based and allows me to be a mobile worker giving me more flexibility. I guess with the current onset of technological advances we are all headed that direction but singapore work environment seems to be a little more traditional still. At the moment I still have to work hard for my money, for travels and for purchases… hopefully in the future I can work purely for interest.

Indeed – hey I can’t see (or recognise) Fujisan from your Lake Aishi pics as well – thought it would be visible?
Do return to Hakone and spend a night there with a loved one 🙂 Its pricey but really worth it.
I only managed to capture 2 to 3 shots of fujisan but they came out blur!!! And the fog came in after so fuji was barely visible.

Hey girl, what software do you use to after touch your pictures? And what do you do with them? I’m asking because I have the same camera but my pictures never look as nice as yours. Thanks.

Shelly, I use adobe to add my own watermark and white balance the pictures. My japan photos were taken from few cameras cause all my friends were also snapping… a tripod is a wonderful tool for great pictures especially at night. I tend not to use flash so i need steady hands.

Kanos, the hakone pass is only ¥5000 from shinjuku. But due to time constraints we took the greyline tour which is ¥16000, as they say time is money!

hi renzze, i simply love ur pix.. may i ask which camera are you using? also, when you’re taking ur pic, are u using the macro function? =)
herb, I’m using Cannon Ixus 860I which is a pretty old camera… would be changing that soon. I do use the macro function from time to time. My Japan photos are taken from a mix of different cameras though as all the girls brought their own.

hi, saw the cute pink and white lugguage that you have. where did you buy it from? your photos really makes me wanna go to tokyo
Kanos, lol…. yes burberry blue is only found in Japan unless they’ve been brought into Singapore via import. They have reversible models as well as the normal totes.

Yeah Tokyo’s a great destination, can be a bit pricey though! Been there 3 times this year already and not had enough!
If I get there in Aug, the plan is to scale Fujisan…the sight from the top looks amazing!!!

wow! blue labels…i went gaga ovr the blue/black labels when I was there last yr. Couldn’t get enough, friends were complaining that the only thing they rem abt our japan trip was blue/black label *hahaha*
Barley, lol… I guess it’s a great place to shop for souvenirs since only Japan carries Burberry Blue and Black labels. One of the girls had to make her stop there so the rest of us ended up buying too.

Hi Renzze, where did you get the white/Pink lugguage from? Thank U!
It’s from Ueno… at one of the little alleys in Ameyayokocho Street. There are many cute and quaint designs for luggage other than the one I bought.

Hey I have been following your blog a while now and you got me really curious with all the nice clothes you have! Where do you get your clothes from mostly? And you really look very very very very young, like 22 yrs old? How old are you exactly? Haha. Apologise if that’s a rude and blunt question.

Hi Renzze, may i know where do u register this .com domain? =)
Hi Renzze, your pink camcorder bought in Japan looks ultra cute and portable, how much was it, do you remember? And does it have an english menu on the screen of the camcorder? As you know, Sony and Canon camcorders there have Jap words on their screens, hard to understand… 🙂 Thanks!
SS, Harris is not the best resort in Batam. But if you intend to head down to the city I think harris gives good value for $. They have a few packages ranging from $100 to $300 and some comes with spa. We all took the honeymoon package.
S, there are mosquitoes in some areas… though I only got bitten once. And there’s definitely air con in the rooms at Harris.

Hi girl, if you don’t mind me asking, will you consider doing an underwear post? As i’ve noticed in your blogs, you have nice bras to go with all different sorts of outfits. Do you normally get them from Singapore or Japan?
Shelly, Are you referring to buying and fitting of the right undergarments? I’m no expert on that topic! lol. The last batch of undergarments I bought them in Tokyo.

Hi Renzze, saw ur post on the jap food in vivo, mind telling me which restaurant is that, it look really yummy to me! Thanks!
LK, I got mine in Frankfurt. The Singapore Longchamp brought in this bag as well but I’m not sure if there are any pieces left since this is a limited edition design.

Bali time soon? I just came back from there – did a lot of diving and met up with some friends at Ku De Ta (which is madly expensive by Bali standards but worth a try!)
Hazel, Le Mer can be bought at CK Tangs or Taka though I tend to get mine at the airport. As for ROC, you can get it at some pharmacies. I haven’t used ROC in a long time so I’m not sure.

hi renzze, may i know where did you get the blue dress from? Is very lovely. Thanks.
ec, I used quite a few different brands. Currently I’m using MAC and also those I gotten at the drugstores in Japan. Putting on lashes is a little like putting on contact lens, it’s difficult when you first start but once you know how to do it, you don’t even have to think about it.
Oic, then may I know the black Chanel jumbo classic flap that you shared with us in your (i think) last month fotos is caviar or lambskin? Cos I’m now thinking which to get: Caviar/Lambskin, Jumbo/Medium. Talk about indecisiveness! haha.. Thanks!

hi babe! am going to beijing for a trip but totally clueless as to where to shop! hv u been there b4? any advices/where for good shopping? tia!
niki, the last time I was in Beijing was years ago… at least 10! Was there for 3 months when I did a short student cultural immersion program with Beijing University. I didn’t really shop much then. But I do remember that the things were really cheap and you could bargain to less then half the quoted price. For clothes and accessories shopping you can try going to the Sanlitun Yashow Clothing Market… take the rail to Dongsishitiao, then bus 701 heading E. And 新光天地 is where all the brand names are.

Hi Renzze, enjoy reading your blog a lot. Need some advise from you, do you have any recommendation for affordable cheongsam for a petite gal? Tks in advance

Hi Renzze, enjoyed reading you blog. Anyway, need some advice and hope you can help. I’m going Korea in mid-nov. Season is autumn winter. Do you think trench coat is good enough or need a thicker winter coat? Saw a trench coat at Zara, but SA said more suitable for HK winter weather. Any advice? Thks!
Korea’s winter can be pretty cold. If you want to get a trench, get one with thicker linings. Or you could just layer up and buy your coats when you are in Korea. Don’t forget to wear your gloves and scarf!

Hey I wanted to get that Juicy Couture bikini on asos too but held back cuz of the price and now its all out of my size.. Good choice made! Love the colour combi! How much does the top and bottom piece cost in the SG boutique? Rem they cost 75 pds each on asos.. TIA!
Harlow, you are probably asked this question umpteen times, but where do you get your hair perm? Do you do additional curling at home? It always look so well curled, especially those in the loy kee chicken rice post!
shan, I’ve permed my hair at quite a few places… the last was at gorgeous hair. My curls are flat when I take photos before they are fully air dried. To get very obvious bouncy curls, I blow dry them with a round brush.

Hi Renzze! can i check where u got ur top with puffed checked sleeves in your last post at the airport?

hi renzee 🙂 i love reading your blog, im around your height and i love getting ideas on how to dress from you cos while you look young, you also always manage to look so willowy and elegant! noticed that you have so many pairs of cute wedges, where do you normally buy them? am always on the look-out for more. haha. take care and stay pretty 🙂
Amanda, I’m glad you enjoy reading the posts. I wear a lot of wedges cause they are a lot more comfy especially when I am out with my dogs a lot. It means that grass patches or sand is not difficult to navigate. I don’t buy my shoes from just one place… I buy them whenever it catches my eye. The last few pairs of wedges that I bought were from Takashimaya.

I still prefer you with long hair! Why don’t you try a short bob, but with a long fringe instead? That might suit you more 🙂
PS. May i know where you got your dress? I’ve been looking for something like that for the longest time!
Cass: Maybe I’ll try that =) Btw my white dress with multi-colored hearts is from my store supplier. It’s a pretty old design already.
Hey dear,
any suggestions as to how I can dress in cold weather .. I have been stucked wearing my jeans and boots and coat.. wanna explore more stuff like leggings and stocking. I just moved to Canada not sure how to dress in winter
hihi where is the jap restaurant at vivocity? level wat?
how much do u spend there at the japanese rest? is it v ex?
Su – try layering dresses and skirts over stockings and a nice warm jacket over!
huihui – It’s 2nd lvl… the side of the building facing sentosa.
stella – it’s not too ex… the set dinner is about 30+ to 50+ per person.
Hi, sorry to keep asking you about this.. Would you happen to have any leftover stock for the white polka-dotted dress? I really, really LOVE it a lot =x
By the way, i miss BKK!!! Don’t think i’ll get to go anytime soon though 🙁
Cass – BBK is rather unstable now so hopefully next year it’ll be better cause some of my girlfriends wanna go too! As for the white dress with mini colorful hearts… it’s no longer available at my store… maybe I might decide to let it up next time when I have the time to clear my wardrobe and do a pre-love sale… probably next year!
karen, the bkk apartment u stay is how much per nite?? look so nice
huihui – it’s about $200+ a night for a 2 bedroom apartment.
hi karen! can i know where u got the cream crochet sweater from? i love it!!

Jas – the occupation is true though I rather that not be publicly known for privacy and as for the 2nd part it’s not really true cause I’ve family in various parts of the world and mostly travel with family or friends =)
Hello.. i came to your blog whilst searching for perm hair. I went to Maggie frends which you kinda recommended but it was ruined! =( despite the fact that They did it 3 times for me.. Do you do the hair curler (if so what brand) or you dont even do anything to your hair? what kinda cream you use?Pls help.. my hair is dead!
Its such an envious thing to see you travel so widely ard the world. From your blog, I understand ya married right? Nv thought of having a kid? Thikn the kid will look very cute like you =)
Hair Fan – gosh! I am so sorry it didn’t go well for you… the last time i did my perm at Maggie it was with Saito but I heard that he has left. I don’t use any hair curler for my permed hair… only when my hair is straight. You can try using Bed Head Small Talk by TIGI… it’s the only cream I’ve used though not consistently.
Family Gal – Lol… I’m traveling as much as I can before family planning comes to play. Thanks for thinking I’ll have a cute kid… actually I just hope my kid will be a healthy one =)
Hello are you an air stewardess?
Jess – nope I’m not =) My colorful nails are a dead giveaway.
Hi .. i happen to chance upon ur site, and i really enjoyed ur postings! keep it going!!! 😀
PS: side track a bit – i do realised u travel quite frequently. may i ask is it for work or for leisure? may i oso ask wat r u working as?
mei: I’m glad you enjoyed reading the posts =) I travel for leisure but I do bring my work along for trips… in the research field
hi renzze, may i know how much u bought ur little miss marc bag? the pvc one. thanks!!
what kind of research work are you doing? Seems like an exciting job to be in.
hey babe r u wearing false lashies? what brand r u using? thxs! (:
chi – research is tedious work and definitely not as exciting as it sounds… lol… excuse me if I don’t really talk about my work cause my colleagues and bosses read my blog too!
rebecca – I’m wearing falsies from various brands that I buy at those toiletries shops that is found at every corner in tokyo… they are about $2 a pair… cheap and good.
I don’t know some moments of this post..
Just curious, who took the video for you while you tour around the country? Did you hire someone to help you take your picture and video? Cos the way the video is taken looks quite professional.
Chi – The pictures and video are home made… taken by me or friends or family members.
Hi can I know what software you use to edit the videos? I’m going oversea soon and would love to do something like yours too!
How long does it take to put together a video ? I think whoever it was that took the pics and did the vidz for u must be lauded! he has great skills!
Someone – I’m using pinnacle studio which is good but not the best in the market… I hear sony vegas platinum and cyberlink power director is better.
Jas – Thanks! Will pass the msg on. The videos take only about 30 mins to put together cause they are really short. Most of the time is spent looking at what raw data that has been shot.
hi there! i totally dig your photos! what’s the model of the camera you are currently using?
i totally miss wake-boarding! used to do it frequently in my uni years sia! u got me going again! 🙂
hihi, i love your tan boots which you wore to London. may i know where you bought them from?
xiaoxin – lol… it is a really fun sport once you get used to the aches that follow!
chloe: The tan boots are from Max Mara.
hi
where did you get the owl scarf from
thanks
owl – its from F21 heritage.
vs yoga pants for paintball?
which tailor do you send for alteration?
an share the add and details? thanks !
s: the yoga pants are really comfy for all those movements!
sewing: I send them to aunty may at FEP #03-77… if you tell her you are recommended by Karen she might charge you cheaper.
where to buy your red and black shoes from? nice !
🙂 – that pair is bought in Korea… a pretty old pair actually.
Hi, I love your white dress! Where did you bought it? hope not overseas 😉
Fishhead – It’s from F21 =)
Hey can I know what brand is that grey bag (with the scarf) you are holding? Can I noe the price? I really like it alot!
Baggie – I’m assuming that you are refering to this http://renzze.smugmug.com/photos/383608327_d7Sbk-L.jpg grey bag. It’s the medium garden tote from Hermes. The bag is $2700 and the twilly is about $200
Hi babe, can i know how much you bought the chanel bag in black hat? is that 2.55 or the classic?
Selina – The classic med flap bag is 3k ++ when I bought it years ago in paris… I’m not sure of the current price.
Hello,
Great job. But not enought info. Where can i read more?
Have a nice day
AnnaHopn
Your dogs are so well-behaved and adorable!!! Love the video 🙂
Adelene – Thanks!
HI Karen, your videos are fantastic! Would you mind if I ask which camcorder you’re currently using? I’m clueless when it comes to shopping for one! Many thanks! Kisses to Louis and Emmie
Scooby – Thanks. I’m using the Sony HD video cam but since the videos on my blog are not in HD format there is no need to get such a good one. In fact I also use my Cannon camera video function to record clips too!
agree with you totally, life is short, so live fully. Sky Diving was fun but if you preferred calming and silent, than scuba diving is better. Sky diving a bit loud and also the adrenalin leaves you breathless everytime you jumped off the plane. Scuba not only calm and ease also able to be memorized by the beauty of the underwater world.
Bjump – Thanks for sharing your insight! I’ve actually done both and they both give me a adrenaline rush and appeal to me equally. =)
Hhmm… very interesting point there, both gave you the adrenaline rush. Surprised you have done both, one of those special gal, enjoyed your life to the fullest.
Re:ECP Car Boot Sale Ur 3rd pic that u post, can share hw u achieved this shot ? Cos it looks frm quite high up …thanks!
Bjump – I’ve got a long list to go before I finish trying out the many things I wanna do in life before I leave this world.
Jas – lol… it was just taken from top down… the photographer raised his hands up.
Hi Karen, your videos are amazing! Could I ask if the song you used in your Chinese New YEar video is by a local group? It’s lovely, very soothing, though I can’t quite understand a whole (I don’t speak a word of mandarin)! I would love to check out their other songs! Great acapella voices, they have!
Scooby – the chinese song I used in my CNY video is called Spring Wind by David Tao, a taiwan based singer.
Hi Babe, really enjoyed your post on London. I m going to Europe come early April. Hope to get some hotel information from you. Care to share. Thanks 🙂
yes i’ve noticed!!! cool… do one for me too!!! hiaks… hows things? shall catch up soon!
Alya – Thanks. Which part of Europe are you going and which area do you need hotel info on?
I’m heading to Paris, London, Nice, Amsterdam Venice, Florence and Rome. Having quite a headache fixing the hotels! btw, your photos are gorgeous!
Chic* – Yes! Haven’t seen you for a long time.
Alya – Wow! Thats quite a scope of places! How long are you gone for? So exciting! You should email me at renzze@gmail.com… easier for me to give you long info.
Thanks babe! i’m going for about 1 month. Seems like a pretty rush trip to me though..:) I’ll drop you an email tonight. Thanks for your generous help 🙂
Hey wads the name and artiste of that german song in your vidz ? Great song selection!
Jas – The song is Vielleicht by the German band Söhne Mannheims.
i’m curious, what are you working as? if you dont mind. 🙂 you do travel alot!
Jas – I think I’ve mentioned several times in my blog before that I’m in the research line. Traveling is more for personal fulfillment though.
oh.. i almost tot u were an air stewardess
melody – lol… I’m not… I don’t think I can take the long hours of work they do on flight or dealing with demanding passengers. Hats off to them.
may i know where did u get that grey dress? it’s pretty! i love your blog! 🙂
Angie – the dress is actually dark brown and I bought it in Korea.
Such a happy video! I luv how fearless Louis was in the water! If only I can get my dog to luv the water as much as Louis does! My dog muz be the only dog that hates the sea… sign
oh i see thanks 🙂
oh my god! i love those giottos!! they overpcrice them so much in candy empire ! did you get hanutas too? I miss german sweets..heh
syl: lol… ya I got both giottos and hanutas among others… They are way overpriced back home!
Hi, i chanced upon yr blog from Les Dames. 🙂 I notice a pic of u carrying a loewe in pink suede IIRC. would u mind sharing the cost, cause i’m reali thinkin of gettin one
Jen- Hi! The pink suede Loewe is med size and was about 2.4K IIRC… that reminds me that I haven’t taken that bag out to use in awhile!
hi,may i know where ya friend got her floral dress from (at the bbq)? tks
Spec – she got her dress at BBK on our last trip together =)
where is this german resturant at? expensive?
Lady1979 – It’s on the 1st floor at vivocity… not too ex… standard restaurant prices.
do u give any to the poor to ease the suffering?
Hi, can I know where you stay at the service apartment when you went bgk last year? can Provide the details cos i’m looking for one, travelling next mth! Thanks!
passerby – yes i do… brand new ones that I buy on impulse but decide not to wear… but what i give to charity need not be stated to the public right?
Bgk goer – I stayed at Fraser Place at Langsuan.
Hi girl! woohoo! saw that u are having a sale of your clothes! i feel safe buying from you if any one of them caught my eye cause i know we are very much the same size! 🙂 The ones i like sold out already! Anyway…your NY pics are so nice!

https://www.renzze.com/index.php/2009/02/01/simple-white/#comment-2883
小心 – thanks babe! We haven’t met up in a long long time… give me a call when you are free!
sunflower – My makeup is very very simple… just eyeliner on the top lids and falsies… no powder no foundation or any other makeup.
hunbun – the dress is from F21.
Pls lemme know when u are going to US again… I wanna get Abercrombie stuff. Some simple tank tops from … uh hum…kids section, of cos… whahaha… lemme know !!!
yan: ok babe.
Good clothing items I must say! Nice blog as always! Perhaps you should start shipping sale items out of Spore? Haha!
Irise – thanks girl! I’m not selling the sales items for profits so at that price the postage overseas would cost more then the item itself!
The camera loves Louis! He looks so handsome from every angle!
Are u self employed or work in yr family owned company? Cos if I wear what you wear to work, I’ll be violating all my present company & previous companies dress code. Just curious.
Scooby – Yeah I think Louis photogenic too!
anonysg – I’m neither self-employed or work in a family business. I do throw on a jacket at work though. Which line are you in… I’m supposing your companies all have rather strict dress codes.
any idea how cum my pc cant view all the pix post up here? 🙁
Hi Karen, how have u been? Havent seen ya for so long, maybe we can meet up with drey tgt 1 day 😀
i like chou dou fu. hahaha. the ones i tried in hk so far are not smelly enough as they tasted like normal deep fried dou fu. any idea where to get the real smelly ones? heehee.
galz – hmmm… I’m not sure why you’re having problems viewing… have you tried on another comp?
.van – Sure… just sms me when you’ll be free.
SJC – I heard the ones in taiwan and china are more pungent but I haven’t tried so I wouldn’t know.
Love u Jie-Jie =)
see u soon
Hey anonysg, jus curious how will the clothes she is wearing be violating the dress code ?? I dont get you…can enlighten ?
The night shots are amazing! You’ve got a great eye for details, and also very, very steady hands!! I’m still trying to hold my (new-ish) video cam with steady hands and it’s no easy feat!
Hi can i know the camera u using? thanks
hi babe. did u spend 1 day in disneyland? im planning a trip to HK too! 🙂
Scooby – Thanks! My hands are also rather shaky… esp in winter! I try to hold the camera nearer to me to avoid excessive movements.
Joq – I’m using Canon Ixus 860I.
Angie – Yes I spent a whole day at Disney which is ok in the cool mth but may be a little too much in the hot months.
Hi sweets, do you mind sharing what camera you using for your Photos *they look great* and what videocam? Many thanks 🙂 Have a great day ahead!
Linda Yeo – I’m using Canon Ixus 860IS for my photos and for the videos I took in hk as well. For all other videos, I’m using my Sony HDR -UX7E videocam.
Got my parcel Tks u 🙂
Thanks ! You really have great pictures here. Awesome colors too! 🙂
Chanced upon your blog…Wow!! Great pics! Envious of your jet-setting lifestyle 🙂 How do you manage to get take so much leave in a regular job?
jac – Great! Hope you like the stuff!
Linda Yeo – Thanks =)
Trophee – Thanks. My job is very much project based so I can allocate my time… but when I’m back in Singapore I get really busy even on weekends.
hey karen, may I know where in HK did u go for a massage? TIA!

Midori – I went to the Sense of Touch spa at Lan Kwai Fong. You can see their webby for details http://www.senseoftouch.com.hk
sheena – lol… I haven’t really developed the habit of taking pictures of my purchases but you’ll get to see when i do wear it and take photos for my daily outfit journal.
ahh ahhhhh i saw the missed call like what?! 2 weeks ago?! and i kept wanting to call u back but forgotten… zzz~ love all your updates and your lovely pics!! *muack*
hi, how did you do the camera animation, very cute.
deedee: Lol… you’ve been a busy girl! I wanted to ask you about Nepal!
charmaine – Thanks! Its done using gif format.
Hi Karen,
Your dogs are so beautifully groomed. I’ll be abit lost, as I’m not sure if I know how to groom a cocker spaniel!
may i know what course u studied in uni?
wow, u r always travelling around. Envy u 🙂
scooby – thanks. Louis actually does basic shaving of his paws and cutting of nails between his visits to the groomer. Cocker tends to be very affectionate and need more attention though. And you should take them out often or they’ll easily become couch potatoes.
melody – i did biz and then went back to do clinical psy.
lk: no need to envy, at least for these couple of months I’ll be grounded! I have too much commitment to friends and work.
ugh i’m sorry! >< u still need info about nepal?
deedee- don’t worry, my original plan to go nepal in April has been postponed due to commitments elsewhere so we can always exchange info when we meet up again!
hey babe, i realised my previous many replies were nt posted up ;[ anyway i din noe u stayed in hong kong till cny…
show show us yr new suede loewe~~ hehe share the joy~~ hahaha congrats man
Chic* – hmmm I didn’t get your previous replies… maybe they were accidentally deleted by my blog spam prevention software. I wasn’t in HK till cny this year but I was there last year’s CNY. How have you been anyways?
Jen – lol… Thanks! You’ll see it on my blog soon enough when I do take it out and take pictures of my daily wear. =)
Hey girl, I’m going Europe and Taiwan in May. Any interesting places to visit/things to see? =P
Oh yah… you know any happening clubs in Taipei? Or anywhere I can get more info =)
Fries – which part of europe are you going and how long? I can’t help you on taiwan cause I’ve never been there!
About 2 weeks… going to france (definitely) then the rest not too sure already… maybe visiting spain, italy and a few other countries =P
where the black dress with ruffles from thanks
hu – the black dress is from BBK.
I wish I have a bunch of girl friends like you! Really envy =p
But sometimes I felt girls might create a lot of problems like gossiping, making a lot of jealousy or talking bad about each others haha, no? Women meant to be bitchy ?
p.s : Your post can’t be commented? LOL
hey renzze ok sure thing! 😀
Oh yeah, do we need to apply for visas for any country?
Irise Kubi – I agree that girls might be trouble but that when selecting good friends are important. I don’t hang out with all my girl friends equally but the ones that are close are really close. Btw… you can click on the title of the post to comment directly on the post instead of on the wall. =)
deedee: I’ll drop you a call soon. Promise.
Fries: Most of the European countries do not require a tourist visa from Singapore unless you’re visiting russia.
Yeah, I tried few times commenting but failed haha!
Love your white dress 😀

You are married!>??!!! For years or months?
min, lol yes I’m already married… after all I’m not that young you know.
i thought you were 24?
min – hehe, I’m older than that.
Min sounds surprised… or is it disappointed? Oh she’s same age as me but I don’t think anybody can tell… cos she looks so young haha
Fries, lol… don’t worry I can feel the age catching up with me real fast esp since I’m not getting my beauty rest.
Haha, shes not that young, but she stays young and pretty. The hubby is handsome too =p
i love your dresses!! where do u usually buy them from?
Irise: thanks for being so sweet.
Rose – I shop everywhere so I can’t pinpoint a shop I go to but I do order quite often from ASOS and F21.
Ashley it’s okay… you can stay young and pretty… Anyway it’s good for a guy to look older and more mature mah.. and a girl to look young haha
Fries: =)

hi sista, is it possible for u to do a blogpost some day on where are the gd places to go when in bkk for shopping ladies stuff?or shopping in general?
lilboy, I do go to Tampines mall from time to time cause I stay in the east. What was I wearing when you saw me.. could have come to say hi! As for the BKK post… actually the best place for shopping for cheap and good ladies stuff is Platinum Mall.
Sometimes u hold a sale of yr clothes, do u sell yr bags, accessories too? 🙂
shermaine, unfortunately I don’t usually sell my bags and accessories. And I tend to sell only my cheap clothes cause I don’t want to tell exp stuff over the internet.
hi sista..can u tell me what u do for a living?cos next time i want to do the same job to enjoy life just like you =) can share with me what is yr occupation?thks!!
You look gorgeous in your outfits!
lil boy, your life is there for you to live. You can still enjoy it no matter what you do. Just find a job that you enjoy. It’s just a matter of balancing your priorities. If you still want to know what I do, I’m a researcher.
Ling, Thank you!
ur gg to nepal nx mth? i jz gt back frm nepal
gosh.. who got hurt so badly?
danial, I was suppose to be leaving for nepal in april with a group of friends to start an english class there but there were some complications with matching everyone’s schedule as well as putting the class together so we’ll be holding the project till next year.

Fries, wow… thats a lot of places to cover in 2 weeks!!! You might wanna extend your stay.
Clara, I love ya lots too!!!
femme, the reason why I didn’t post his full name was to protect my friend rather than that creep. But he should know who he is.
Hi, love the MJ sling bag that you buy. May i know how much you pay for it?

Hi there, happy to see so miuch updates! Btw, who take the photos for u always?? Yr boyrfriend?? hehe 🙂
jj – well there’s not much tricks to teach but it does help if your work allows you to be a moofer. The blackberry is also a fantastic tool.
Jen, thanks for reading =) My photos are taken by whoever happens to be there with me at that time.
hi may i noe whr did u get your red wedges from? any intro of shops for nice wedges? been lookin for 1. thks 🙂
angie, if you’re referring to the pink patent wedges I’m wearing with the white top and jeans carrying the IT bag, it’s from Martina Pink. You can get it from Tangs.
hi babe, may i know from which website did you get this tagboard from? TIA 😉
j, this wall is a plugin for wordpress.
nice floral dress! where did you get it from?
oh icic. do i need to upgrade to premium css before i can unput this plugin? TIA 🙂
claire, the dress is from f21.
j, the wp wall is a widget so your blog needs to be widget friendly. I’m not too sure about premium css or not cause I’m using my own server and domain, not using wp blog. Here’s the link to the dl for the wp wall… http://www.prelovac.com/vladimir/wordpress-plugins/wp-wall
hi renzze, may i know what type of shoes are you wearing with your floral dress? thanks.
Christie, I was wearing white satin slingback heels.

Juilong, thanks! I’m trying to do exactly that now!
Greatings,
Can i take a one small picture from your blog?
Have a nice day
Robor
Robor, which picture might that be?
Hi, Can i know how much does your grey chanel bag cost? The first pic in your latest clothing sales… Thanks

washed ashore post is which beach>?
hahahah! love the washed up tv!
beachy, that is at changi beach
pls throw your rubbish properly, lol… you can’t imagine the weirdest things people throw into the sea…
Do you have any sunblock or handcream to recommend? Tries a few but don’t find them good enough. Thanks.
hazel, I love L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream.
Hi, may I know do u shower ur dog each time u bring them out? I’m curious how do u clean them up when they are cover with sand all over? lol..
Thanks! i seldom reapply, most of the sunblock i get are oily in a way, so i doesn’t like the oily feel.
u did ur undergrad and masters in the us?
thanks
re, nope, not in the states.
Hi renzze, i bet u get this qn real often. Where did u get ur perm? and how much was it? Thanks 🙂
Hi, Thanks for article. Everytime like to read you.
Clare, I did my last perm at Gorgeous Hair at Boon Keng… can’t remember how much though.
Jinny, thanks! I’m glad you liked the post.
Glad to know you are on the road to recovery. May I know where did you get the small grey bag?
Juliong, the grey tote is from Muji.
hee yay twitter is cool! im “following” u 😀
wow you travel a lot! love your blog! um…have you traveled to Philippines? =)
kirei, I’m really new to twitter but having fun!
Jackie, nope… I would love to go one day though.
Hi there,

Thank you
Pett

xiaoqi, I’ve replied your inquires at the sales post.
=>, the white spag top is from Forever 21
hey is that a real hermes birkin? how much did you pay for it and how long was the wait for the bag? TIA!
ber, it’s a Hermes Kelly 28 and retails for about 11K. My wait is about 3 years but they are unpredictable, my gf had hers after 3 mths of wait. They do have a gorgeous Graphite one at the boutique now if you’re interested.
the last picture of the clouds is very nice! i think i spy the control tower of changi airport in the background.. and what looks like planes. you caught that photograph in motion didn’t you? which makes the picture quality all the more amazing!
Your hermes kelly is gorgeous!!
hey gal. nice blue top. where did u get it? btw, what is your occupation?
Xiaoqi: you’ve got super sharp eyes!!! Yup we were near the airport runways. The photo was taken while driving… but the clouds did look very pretty that day so we took a random shot.
regina, thanks babe!
j, I’m assuming you’re asking about the blue and lilac top I wore for tea at M hotel? Well it’s from Korea. And I’m in the research line.
Hi babe, love the top and shoes you wore in your post “Tea at M Hotel”. May I know where are they from? Did you get them in Singapore? Thanks!
Jill, they are from Charles and Keith in Singapore.
nice shoes from charles & keith! hardly can find nice and comfortable shoes from there. i reckon you bought the top in korea? really unique & the colour is gorgeous
Thank you for the wonderful writeup about your experience with us. Your friends are lovely and your dogs are cute! Hope to see ya all again soon!
ur dad looks super young!!!
You learning your salsa at attitude dance school? tangjong pagar? Didnt like it.
Jill, I guess with shoes it really depends on the seasonal collection… sometimes I find a whole range I love and at other times not even a single pair for months! And yup… that top is from Korea.
Hai Bin U Enterprise, you’ll be seeing us soon… we loved the way you managed your business.
melody, lol… thanks… youth genes!
dancer, I’m learning salsa and exotic. One of the biggest draw for me is the flexible schedule cause I tend to travel quite a bit.
Hi Renzze,
I came to your blog via CozyCot! I love salsa and I’ve been doing it since 2001 (gosh, such a long time ago)! I’ll send you some salsa links and hope you’ll have a wonderful time burning the floor!
I bought the same sneakers from dkny recently! Such a coincidence :). Exotic dance is good fun! I took classes a couple of years back. 🙂
where do u do ur hair? nice!
oh, you have changed your banner into a comic strip cartoon! and she blinks her eyes.. reminds me of the previous cozycot banner of the lady in the tub, who looks back at us over her shoulder and blinks her eyes! 😀 i was quite sad when they took her off.
Salsera, wow! You must be salsa expert by now =) You can email the links to renzze@gmail.com Thanks!
Regina, high 5! Did you get the same silver pair or the gold one. I find them both very pretty.
rachel, I did my last perm at Gorgeous Hair.
Xiaoqi, lol… I like changing my banner once in awhile =) Am glad you received the dress already!
i just realised.. is your eyebrow in the banner drawn the wrong way? heh. usually the bolder part is nearer the nose, and it becomes thinner toward the ear, right? the Ming dynasty bowls are pretty! and the heap of chicken looks sinfully good.
Love the outfit you wore for Butter Factory. Is there any mask u can recommend as well? Thanks
I got the silver one! 🙂
Do you like have a photographer following you all the time?
Xiaoqi: lol… the eyebrows are like the dragonball comics!
hazel, I’m assuming you’re referring to facial masks? Well, I use the Le Mer Refining Facial or Clarins Thirst Quenching Hydra-Care Mask.
regina, lol… nice! I picked the silver one cause I already have a gold one by DKNY.
J, anyone can be a photographer be it friends, family or a self timer camera! If I’m out with friends we’ll take photos and videos for each other… but out of respect for their privacy ( the internet can be a scary place), I don’t always post pictures of all my friends or family.
Another pair of pretty shoes! May i know where are they from?
Great post! Just wanted to let you know you have a new subscriber- me!
i like your pics!
May i ask what camera are u using?
where the silver sneakers buy from ? nice !
Cecilia, I’m using cannon ixus 860I… an old camera
s, it’s from DKNY
It’s really cool here in Paris… 7 degrees and 9 degrees respectively for the last 2 days…
those pink leaves sure are gorgeous. and i like that photograph where you posed in front of this artsy painted wall! i can only remember that these few days have been rainy, not sunny!
Fries, I’m so envious!!! I wanna be in Paris too!
Xiaoqi, it’s been rainy then unbearably hot and back to being wet again! Bleahz!
girl, what dance you learning ya? 🙂
Hey Renzze, just wondering what do u apply for your curls? it’s nicely set!
hi renzze, may i know how to get .com for blog than blogspot or multiply or etc? Any charges?
I read some of the posts and I think it is a great site. Be good to my ironical counter Do you want a joke? 🙂 What is a cannibal’s favorite type of TV show? A celebrity roast.
j, I’m learning salsa as well as exotic jazz.
Crystal, I don’t put much hair products on my hair… but I’ve tried TIGI’s small talk and it’s not bad.
belle, first you buy your own domain… I buy mine from godaddy.com then you also need to have your own server space.
Thank you! I would now go on this blog every day!
Zoran
hi, where did u get the slippers u wore on the May 5th post? TIA!
slippers, I got them in BBK. But I had a previous pair I bought from Urban Males… it was more expensive though.
Can you recommend vets who are good and affordable? Thanks.
Hi , where did ue get your bag from ? so pretty . =) .
haha, i am easy to please too! just a bowl of fried fish mi fen soup makes me happy. the black and white shoes are lovely.
hope Emmie recovers soon!
hi… may i know which hospital you called? thanks..
Ivy, I’ve been told by quite a few people recently that The Animal Clinic at Namly is good.
fen, that bag is from Korea.
Xiaoqi, Thanks… btw… I love fried fish soup too!
jj, I called the animal hospital at whitley cause it’s the only 24 hours animal hospital… I wouldn’t recommend it unless it’s an emergency cause it’s exorbitant!
OOoo exotic jazz… dance for me !!! Hahahaha!!! Next time no more MJ!
ahh, i see details on the cap sleeves of the blue ethnic top that wasn’t evident at all in the pictures you posted at cozycot! nice!
Yan, lol… you should come learn too!
Xiaoqi, there’s beadings on the sleeves and at the rear of the top which i didn’t remember to capture on pictures.
that blue top for dim sum breakfast look fantastic! where did you get it? many thanks babe!
Hi ur grandpa’a cake looks yummy. wad flavor is it ? Ur grandpa is from whose side ?
how can i view the dance video? thankz
hui, I bought that in HK.
Jas, grandparents are from paternal side. The flavor of the cake is Paradiso De Nocciola and I got it from swiss bake.
lil_piggy, thanks for your interest but unfortunately the dance video is viewable only on invite basis for my dance classmates.
hi, where are ur sunnies (in the south pier entry) from? gr8 blog btw, i always thought petite/shorties (i am one as well and really hate it =X) can’t look gd wearing anything but u prove me wrong.
sash, thanks for your compliments. No one is perfect so you just gotta make the best of what you have. The sunnies are from MEL at Robinsons Raffles city.
what is the title of the soundtrack u used for your grandpa’s birthday video? (:
Joel, the music is All Love Can Be featuring Charlotte Church from the soundtrack of A Beautiful Mind
How’s the weather like in tokyo? Welcome bk!
Hi! Bloghopping…. lovely blog you have here! http://www.shinnpark.com
Min, temperatures are a cool 20C in the day and about 16 to 18 in the night.
Gin, thanks for dropping by.
hihi.which model camera r u using? u look great 🙂
where are the tokyo pics? =)
madeline, I’m using an old camera, cannon ixus 860I
claire, I’ve been swamped with work since I got back and haven’t even uploaded the pictures! Will be at least a week or so before the tokyo pictures get posted.
hi, i like the hat , where did u get it from? tkns
lin, the hat from the singapore flyer post? It’s from F21
i love how you do your eye make up. do you use a liquid liner? what brand can you recommend?
claire, I’m using mac powerpoint pencil to line my eyes. The gel ones are better but I’m too lazy so pencil works well for me.
v beautiful white blouse, i enjoy yr blog..time for yr sales again (oh n hope u incl accessories as well) *evil smile*
Shermaine, lol… thanks! I would love to do another sale post but I haven’t had the time on my hands to deal with enquires and emails for sales items at the moment. Will do one once I’ve more free time.
white blouse so lovely ! where from? thanks
hun, the blouse is from chloe.
hi Renzze, do you have a place of your own? have been addicted to your blog and realised that you may not be staying with your parents. i am curious to know e reason but you may choose to ignore me. 🙂
jj, I have a place of my own. But it’s not an unusual concept except in asia.
did u say you got that dress in HK? the purple one… JUST so pweeeettttyyyy! >.<
actually I really like your dress in the ‘last minute packing’ entry. where did you get that from? xxx
hello! didn’t know you were back so fast, i was expecting you to take a long holiday again! ugh, the zombies look horrible. don’t you have a similar hat from f21 in green/blue & brown? i remember you wore that with the tie-dye halter dress.
*Jenn, The purple dress is from an old Anna Sui collecition. And the dress i wore in the last min packing post is from FEP.
Xiaoqi, lol.. it’s a short little getaway with a few girlfriends on a (relatively – considering it’s tokyo) shoestring budget . I bought 3 F21 floppy hats in different colors… lol
hi renzze, u are married right? If i rem should be last Dec?
grace, lol… from some years back actually.
thanks for replying!
Hi Renzze, I love your hair. May I know which salon did you perm ur hair at? and which stylist? It’s really nice!!
opps! hehe.. sorry i still rem seeing ur pretty gowns seems like ytday haha… ur ubin trip seems so fun… =)
Are you a mummy yet?
ting, I’ve been changing my hair salon. I’ll recommend Clara from Gorgeous hair at Boon Keng… but my latest hair was done in Japan.
Grace, I agree time does fly by real quick. My gowns are probably outdated by now! I still love being a part of weddings and are helping my friends out with theirs!
Min, lol… not yet. I still kinda feel that I’ve got so many things on my to-do list that I’ve yet to tick off!
that poem in your pulau ubin post..there'sa chinese version..type it out for u next time! hahah...
Leaving for Tokyo tonight. would you mind sharing where the salon is at? as well as comment if i should bring a jacket as well since my clothes are all with sleeves already. Many thanks
小心: Lol… Would be nice to see the chinese version!
Thank you! I probably will pop on the salon when my next hair cut is due! (=
Passerby, You can get from disneyland to the disneyland hotel… by foot it takes about 15 to 20mins… or you can take the resort shuttle from the Disneyland Resort Public Transport Interchange which is about 3 mins walk from the park.
hi renzee, just wondering how long it took u to toilet train ur dogs?
Its just a piece of my kind advice.
my mates sent me a link to your blog post and I thanked them! Excellent work!
“Keep open house for all with a glad heart;” (1 Peter, 4, 9).
Tks renzee, guess i need to hv more patience with my doggies 🙂 Btw abt ur weight issues…don’t fret cos I’m like u, off the ideal BMI. I think BMI is just a no. most impt is to be healthy, of course if fats can be distributed evenly then that’s a bonus *evil grin* I wish for that too.
hi, u mean u manged to retrieve pictures from formatted memory card? teach me!! i accidentally formatted my camera memory card for my first 2 day into taiwan trip and i almost burst out crying in taiwan. now u’ve given me some hope!!
Babygal, I’m still pretty young so being healthy is my priority… babies-wise, it’s just a bonus to me… I’ll just take what destiny has planned out for me… no need to fret!
Barley, with dogs, they need a lot of love , attention and patience but having them rewards you in so many ways! How old are your dogs?
sannnz, sorry to hear about your memory card. Unfortunately, in my case, I didn’t accidentally format my card… just that the card got a little corrupted for some reason. My friend helped me retrieve the pictures before re-formatting the card. Once you reformat a card the photos are lost. And I know how painful that can be especially if the memories snapped are important.
renzee, my doggies are just turning 3mths old. Looking forward to go home everyday so i can spend time with them.
Barley, How many doggies do you have and what breed? It can be a real handful dealing with more than one puppy! I almost bought a 2nd dog ( cocker mix goldie) when Louis was 3 mths… but the sensible side in me stopped me. Only when Louis turned 1 did i get Emmie.
renzee, i hv 2 dogs (cocker mix schnauzer). Wanted to get 1 but since they r siblings n seeing them so close to each other I decided to get both so they can hv e/o for company as well
can’t wait for your tokyo pics =)
Claire,
Lol… Sorry for the wait but my schedule’s still pretty packed! It should be out next week!
Barley, Wow! I’ve never seen a cocker mix schnauzer… do send me pics!! I’m sure they are very cute! I have such a weakness for cockers. They also need lots of socialization with humans and other dogs while they are young.
renzee, emailed u some pics of my doggies. I’ve been trying to take more pics / videos of them now so I can reminisce in future.
Barley, I haven’t received any photos or video… did you email them to renzze@gmail.com
Hi renzze, been reading yr blog! any idea where to get nice, formal (but not gowns) dresses in singapore? got a couple of wedding dinners coming up! esp love all the dress u wore to your friend’s church wedding!
I like the dress you wore in the steamboat with ac. where did you get it from? 🙂
thats weird, will resend again
hi renzze, what camera did you use in your post with your dogs? the one with the secret location. the pictures are stunning.
Lynn, I bought the dress from an online LJ store quite some time back… not sure which one anymore.
Barley, I got your pictures and both of them are so adorable!!! The have cocker ears and paws but a schnauzer face! Gigi’s fur (the one with lighter patches on the face) has cocker fur while Barley has more schnauzer fur. hehe… Both breeds are highly intelligent but rather stubborn so you’ve got quite a handful!
jas, I love BCBG dresses for short semi-formal dresses… their cut and material never lets me down. But if you have a little more time to order, you might want to try ASOS for unique dresses or F21 for cheap ones =)
Chris, I’m using cannon ixus 860I… great for the big sunshine days but too noisy and lousy for night shots.
the jpn hotel is it clean and safte? lots of backpackers?
yay! tokyo pics! i want to go to japaaaannnn!!! =)
I stayed at Sakura before when I went to Tokyo alone last year and Japan hostel really changed my opinion of hostel living during cheap travel =)
spending lotsa time to train them both but Gigi seems to be right on track while Barley is slower. Amazed u were able to describe them so well…even the paws 🙂
Hey that Tokyo hostel / hotel looks decent. Villa Fontaine is also a good cost effective range to stay in as well, hey have many locations all around.
b, yup it’s definitely clean and safe and pretty popular too! Just that it’s no frills!
claire, lol… maybe you can consider going after the swine flu dies down.
xuan-er, ya… japan has one of the better 3 star backpacker hotels around.
Barley, lol… I guess I’m just a huge fan of cockers – mix or otherwise.
Kanos, thanks for the info! I’ll look into that if I need a budget place and sakura is not available.
hey babe, checks out http://lovingyourbags.blogspot.com for Apple Garde ! 🙂 For your bags! Love your latest pics! enjoy!
where ue got your pink hair clip ?
the red dress that u wear during ur cny, may i know where do u get them?
Disneysea! Let’s see what you managed to do there. Hope you managed to stay till the end for that BravoSEAmo show!
hi karen, wat liner do you use on your eyes?
fen, from Korea.
hazel, that red dress was from BBK
Kanos, yup we stayed till the shops had to close… lol…
eLaine, I’m using mac powerpoint.
Hey Karen. May I know which brand are the shades you are wearing in the Disneysea post? TIA!
hi renzze, have been a follower of ur blog for quite sometime cos of ur adorable dogs. oh and a life every girl envy! all the labels and holidays … slurp! jus curious … what do you work as?
renzze, what’s the model of the chanel bag u r carrying?
Midori, it’s from MEL, a cheap brand that robinson carries.
Kate, there’s no need to envy… lol… I’m everyone has their own story and there are many girls out there with a lot more exciting lives and outfits! It just probably happens that I blog about mine. I’m a researcher and it’s a really unexciting job… hehe…
Barley, It’s the chanel disc bag with flap… I’m not sure of the model no but the Singapore boutique was carrying the model a few months back… maybe they still have it.
do you wear false lashes? where do you buy them? =)
i wonder why there are no pictures of you doing stuff like community work and stuff like that. Stuff that really matter to the society and not just clothes, holidays and branded goods
Claire, my latest batch is from Japan.
Thanks, will pop by Chanel to see if its still avail.
thanks for answering. mind me asking more? research on? haha .. it feels exciting to me! anyway u r married!! i didn’t know that cos like u say, ur hubby doesn’t really appear in ur blog. that explains … haha cos i alway find it cute why u seem to have someone helpin u to take pic haha n u look way too young to b married lol!
renzze, don’t mind wendy…maybe she’s just envious of your fabulous life…we love your blog so keep on writing! =)
I have thought and have removed this question
Kate, I’m doing research in developmental psychology… basically dealing with the back-end of research on children. Lol… and yes I’m married… I’m not as young as my pictures seem to portray me… or maybe it’s my petite size that is misleading… hehe… but I believe that as long as you are young at heart… age is just a number.
Claire, thanks! And I’m glad you like reading my blog.
Isabebe, thanks for your comments. And it is nice to know that someone else understands where I’m coming from on the matter. You’ve spelled out my feelings exactly!
=>
lol what happened! That was a smiley!
well to each his own. i never thought you’d agree with me either. I am a MINDS school teacher anyway.
i like the way clara bunned her hair at Akihabara!! can u film a video on how she does her bun pls? tia 🙂
isabebe, lol… sometimes the code on my site can get a little cranky.
Junkies, I’ll let Clara know about your request but it’s really up to her if she wants to do the video. =)
All i am saying that we should recognise the purpose of the blog and not to judge people based on them, nor require them to have to defend themselves.
wow lots of great pics!! can see you girls are having tonnes of fun, and make me wanna go back to japan again!!!
anyway yea, after reading through some of the long replies… hmmmm. well i think it’s usual for some who 1st come across this blog to find it “skewed to materialistic pleasures”… but i think one shouldn’t judge too quickly from mere blog entries, right? there are those who only write about emo stuff, while others who only want to share happy moments… but that doesn’t mean the former is permanently emo while latter has no woes at all, right? like, i don’t blog about work problems at all, doesn’t mean i have no problem at work. yea? yes, to each his/her own~ and if you know renzze personally, you’ll know that she’s a very sincere person, who happens to also know how to enjoy and maximize her life. if there’s one thing that i truly envy her for, it’s her time management!!!
I am sure its not too difficult to understand that If you find this blog “too materialistic”,don’t read it! I mean, its Renzze’s personal blog! I think she is already so nice to put this point gently across. If it was me, I would just tell you to SHOO!
Infact I enjoy reading her blog & in a way, I also get to know about the places that I have not visit so far…. Renzze, dun be affected by Wendy’s remarks, and keep writing…. I like reading your blog! 🙂
me too ! I rly enjoy reading renzze’s blog =) I hope yr style will not change due to this yeah? & I agree that renzze’s rly helpful. I dont know her personally as well but she’s kind enough to patiently answer my questions in her previous posts !
it’s sweet to see the subtle change in your blog, specially for Father’s Day!!! 😀
isabebe, thanks again for sharing your thoughts.
deedee, I wanna go back too! hehe… you must be really busy these days cause you don’t even blog anymore. I’m actually terrible with time management … haven’t seen a lot of you girls in awhile. And your sharp eyes noticed the Happy Father’s Day Banner!
JO, thanks for voicing out… I do welcome all sort of readers but I guess its impossible to meet everyone’s expectation.
Katherine, I’m glad you enjoy my blog. It’s readers like you that makes blogging such a bonus.
Jaslynn, thank you for being so sweet and don’t worry… I’m gonna keep blogging as usual. I’ve seen enough of life to respect others opinion and yet stand my own ground.
hey babe, I think you handled the comments very well. I don’t think it’s possible to know a person by simply reading her blog and it’s really up to you to decide what should be featured here. 🙂 Anyway, on a happier note, I love your Japan trip photos!! It’s strange, but I have the same pair of rubber boots that you bought, except that I got mine in Venice. Haha!
Hi Renzze, really enjoy reading your blog. And i really like the ruffles top u wore to Meiji Shrine. Where did you get this lovely piece from? =D
it is fun to read your blog..able to travel with friends even you are marry..
but from a woman view..better be careful.
as always out ..your hubby alone.he one day will find another woman..as you always not around.
but hope you will start your family soon.a baby Soon
regina, thanks babe! hehe, I think these days everything is probably MIC and exported all over the world.
Moizz, thanks! The top is from Korea.
jojo, Glad you like reading! hehe… I get your concerns… But I value my independence and freedom too highly… besides all relationships need to have trust. These days it’s not only the guys that can cheat… girls do too… being stuck to the hip doesn’t guarantee anything… I think if you wanna cheat… you’ll always find ways and if you don’t want to… you simply won’t. Someday I’ll start a family and it’ll be a lifestyle shift… but for now I just wanna see the world!
you 4 ladies gotta be the only gang i seen so far who strides down the streets in style during holidaying haha! me and my gfs are always in jeans or berms when out durin trips … so guilty of our dress code now!
while shopping at the independent stores, do they jack up the prices coz u are tourists? any bargaining?
WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!! I AM PUBLICLY HUMILIATED!!!!!! THE CHICKEN WALK!!!!
Kate, lol… we don’t always travel in style .. but we had to for the tokyo trip cause it’s for sushi’s hen’s “night”! We gotta have fun like there’s no tomorrow!
nutter, for most parts, the prices at harajuku and shibuya are pretty fixed. You can do some reasonable bargaining at ueno market and aikihabara though.
Clara, hehehe… love ya craziness!
Hi Renzze,
Am just curious what’s the reasons for you to wear most of your clothes not more than once?
woo~ Renzze.. reading thru your girlies Jap trip make my heart itch to go back again…. arghhh,.,.,. temptation! hahaha… bet u girls have real great time there! so fun…. food looks yummieeeeeeee
PP, lol… I don’t conscientiously do it but I do have quite a huge selection. I don’t drink or smoke but I guess my vice has got to be shopping!
melgrace, I’m missing the food too!!! Miss the ramen and the japanese snacks!
True.. its hard to lease everyone.. never ever let all this negative comments affect you! really enjoy your blog!
May i ask which model is the ray ban sunglass and hw much is it? Thanks.
hi, happen to got hold of ya blog on cozycot. enjoy reading yr post on the japan trips!! you gals really had fun there. cheers!! <3
Were you at Cityhall?
JO, thanks!
S, I’m not sure which ones my girlies are wearing but I’m wearing the classic gold aviator.
Jessie, glad you enjoy reading!
Min, when? I wasn’t at city hall today.
Hi nice reading your bog. I am going to Japan soon and like to know where you get your undergarments? Thks a million!
bonkitty – You can try Body Focus at Harajuku, near the ending section of Takeshita Street. Or try peach john at Shibuya 109 which will be a tad more expensive.
hi renzze, i like your new transformers banner! it’s very cool =) your japan pictures are beautiful! i’m planning to do japan at year end and can’t wait!
sunflower, thanks! The winter scenery in Japan is gorgeous… you’re gonna have such a fun time!
love ur transformers banner…very creative and refreshing 🙂
Barley, Thank you! 🙂
woah..but you seem have alot leave?your job is your own company?as if a normal clerk or working people.almost is 14days of leave.but you every mth seem to be travel.and even in travel is for working.but you able to play.are you really is working?or are you stay home wife?your hubby support your travel, car, clothes, dogs?
you are really blessed.
jojo, I’m quite blessed to have a job that is project based and allows me to be a mobile worker giving me more flexibility. I guess with the current onset of technological advances we are all headed that direction but singapore work environment seems to be a little more traditional still. At the moment I still have to work hard for my money, for travels and for purchases… hopefully in the future I can work purely for interest.
Wow…love ur personalised “Transformers” Banner!…COOL!
Christine, thanks! I loved the movie and wanted to incorporated it here.
renzze, how much you pay for the one day tour? the black egg kitty is sooo cute!
how many days trip was tokyo..u seemed like been to many many places. Is this package or f&E?
is your japan trip f&e? also did you make your blog banners yourself? looks very nice and professional!
Jessie, the one day fuji/hakone tour with bullet-train ticket and lunch is ¥16000, without lunch is ¥14000
S, was there for a week only, F&E but one of the girls haven’t been to japan before so we were trying to show her the best sights!
xiao bai, thanks! The trip was F&E and we basically took public transport everywhere. The banners are also home made =)
Doh! My Hakone trip last week was misty misty! Stayed the weekend at the Hyatt though – great onsen there! But the fog / mist made it impossible to see anything 10 metres ahead!
Kanos, I heard that Hakone has poorer visibility in the summer compared the the colder months. But at least you had the time to stay and enjoy the onsen there!
Hey the Hakone day tour seems kinda pricey – paid JPY50K for my Hakone freepass for 2 days all transport included and about JPY16K supplement for the romance car rides!
Kanos, the hakone pass is only ¥5000 from shinjuku. But due to time constraints we took the greyline tour which is ¥16000, as they say time is money!
Thanks so much girl!
hi renzze,
i simply love ur pix.. may i ask which camera are you using? also, when you’re taking ur pic, are u using the macro function? =)
herb, I’m using Cannon Ixus 860I which is a pretty old camera… would be changing that soon. I do use the macro function from time to time. My Japan photos are taken from a mix of different cameras though as all the girls brought their own.
hi,
saw the cute pink and white lugguage that you have. where did you buy it from? your photos really makes me wanna go to tokyo
Charmlim, I got that luggage in Japan. Tokyo is a wonderful holiday destination.
I spot Burberry Blue! My gal always hounds me for it – some reversible bag or something like that…!
Kanos, Wow! You must really like Japan a lot! It’ll be fantastic to climb Mount Fuji… take the night climb so you can see the sun rise at the summit!
Wah..you girls had soo much fun.. Now you’v made me reeaally reeally miss japan.
sassygirl, we did have lots of fun… and I too miss Japan!
wow! blue labels…i went gaga ovr the blue/black labels when I was there last yr.
Thank U!
Serene, I bought it in Japan to cause I needed extra luggage to carry my loots back!
the lugguage is so pretty!
Serene,
thanks!
Can you advise the exact location where we can get the luggage? Thanks a mil
Min,
It’s from Ueno… at one of the little alleys in Ameyayokocho Street.
Heya! I clicked on your link on cozycot. Your photos of Japan are really interesting! Glad to see you had fun there! I enjoyed the pictures. 🙂
Wen, I get my clothes from everywhere! Don’t really stick to one brand. And I’m actually 27 turning 28 this year… it’ll be nice to be 22 again =)
Kath, glad you liked the pictures!
I had dinner there few wks ago. Value for $, definitely gg back again.
Barley, Yup I think it’s value for $$ too!
oh you definitely look so much younger than your actual age!!! Age leaves no lines on your face at all. 🙂
Wen, lol… I think being small sized helps deflect age.
hi renzze, tat rose prints long champ bag is really pretty! did u get it from japan as well?
Twin, I got the rose print Longchamp bag in Frankfurt Germany.
Hi Renzee, love your Japan picts!! May I know how much does your luggage cost?
Jen, the cabin luggage costs abt SGD300-400… can’t remember exact price.
Hi Renzze.May I know from which shop/website did you purchase the Bohemian Tiered Maxi from?
thelittlefriend, I used to sell it on my own online store some time back.
Hi Renzze, may I know the Ju Shin Jung has what kind of meat variety? We self service or they? Thanks 🙂
Linda, they’ve got pork (different parts) and marinated pork or marinated chicken. It’s self service but if you go on weekdays they tend to help you to BBQ.
Hi Renzze, may i know where do u register this .com domain? =)
Jenny,
A friend helped me to register a long time ago… but if you want you can get your domain from godaddy.com
Many thanks babe! xoxo 🙂
Thanks, Renzze! =)
Hi Renzze, lovely pair of black stud shoes from your latest post! may i know where did you get them from?? thanks!
Serene, I got those heels from an online LJ shoe spree.
Can consider accessories sales for those who cant fit in yr beautiful clothes? Pls…haha
shermaine, lol… I’ll keep that in mind.
I love both bakchang and nonya changs equally too! Ahh..delish!
sassygirl,
Hi-5!
nice! i’m gonna make my own journal
I love your photos. May I know what camera do you use?
Meow, I’m currently using Cannon IXUS860I which is good for day shots but not too good for night shots.
Hi! May I know which software you use to edit/input the video u take for the supper at simpang bedok! Thanks!
Mystic, I’m currently using Sony Vegas platinum.
Wen, It’s about $350 to $400 only and it does have English instructions on the touch screen.
Hi Renzze, so in need of a getaway too. is the harris resort good? how much did you pay for it? does it come with a spa package?
SS, Harris is not the best resort in Batam. But if you intend to head down to the city I think harris gives good value for $. They have a few packages ranging from $100 to $300 and some comes with spa. We all took the honeymoon package.
Is there mosquitoes and aircon at the haris?
S, there are mosquitoes in some areas… though I only got bitten once. And there’s definitely air con in the rooms at Harris.
Renzze, the camcorder was a good buy! Looks really pretty. Thanks for replying! 🙂
hi renzze, thanks for the info. i saw a similar pair of the black stud shoes at FEP but it doesnt look as good. do you still happen to have the link to the online shop u bought from?? thanks!
Serena, here’s the link http://melissa2ks.livejournal.com/ I normally don’t keep links but I recently ordered again. =)
i love ur batam video… both u & clara look great n glowing! btw whats the name of song in the video?
melody, thanks =) The song used for the video is “Over You” by Daughtry.
thanks for your reply!! will go check it out now.. looking forward to more posts… cheers!
thanks for the link!
your batam video looks nice..is clara and gio a item..
Jan, yup.
LOL @ the durian flavored condoms! I just ate durian ice cream yesterday and it was yummy!
Kanos, lol… then I guess the condoms might be more appealing to you! I’ll be in Bali after you I guess!
When’s the Bali trip? I’ll be there national day weekend!
Errr…I might eat durian ice cream but you won’t catch me eating durian flavoured condoms that’s for sure! I’m straight! 😛
Kanos, lol =)
Hello!
My name is Alice, I`m from New York but live in Paris now. I love classic music
Hey babe, may i know where you gotten the leopard print maxi dress from? Its lovely! TIA 😀
Tracy, I got the dress when I was in Bali last year.
hello what camera are you using? love the colors!
passerby, I’m using canon ixus 860I. It’s great for daytime pictures but not too good for night shots.
Thanks!
Belle, It’s Shin Kushiya Japanese Restaurant.
hi karen, i always see u wearing low cut dresses. what type of bra do you go with it? i can’t seem to find one that is deep enuf. tks!
Sannnz, I’m using the usual strapless or plunge bras which you can find at the departmental stores. I personally prefer Wacoal.
Hi there,
Amazing! Not clear for me, how offen you updating your https://www.renzze.com.
Have a nice day
Great article . Will definitely apply it to my website
hi,
i am planning a trip to hong kong and tokyo in nov. could u suggest some hotels or inn for both places. thank you
Charmaine, what is your budget for tokyo? For info on HK you can read up on my previous FAQ post here… https://www.renzze.com/index.php/2009/03/16/all-about-hk/
I’ll take some of your suggestions and try to apply them.
I think this was a very interesting post thanks for writing it!
Hi, is the chanel bag in your latest post a jumbo? how much did u pay for it? thanks!
hi,
my budgget for tokyo is abt 70 to 90 dollars per person.
Hi renzze, may i know what is the design of Chanel bag which is featured in ur latest post? and where did you buy it from? 🙂
coco, It’s a classic flap jumbo. I got mine in UK but the local boutique should carry it as well.
Hi Hi Renzze! I saw that you have a large longchamp bag with plenty of roses. This bag is super beautiful. May I know where to get? Thank you.
LK, I got mine in Frankfurt. The Singapore Longchamp brought in this bag as well but I’m not sure if there are any pieces left since this is a limited edition design.
Enjoy reading your blog. Keep ’em coming! 🙂
Lennard, thanks for the encouragement!
hey girl, how have u been? havent seen ya for ages.
.van, ya I’ve been pretty busy. I haven’t seen you in ages too! How are you doing? I still meet Audrey once in awhile though. Maybe we can meet up in Sept when I’m back.
It sounds like you’re creating problems yourself by trying to solve this issue instead of looking at why their is a problem in the first place.
Interesting and informative. But will you write about this one more?
I like how you did magic tricks to make those cleaning equipments come out ^^ very creative… and thanks for the cleaning tips! ^^
*jenn, I’m glad you liked it… lol… the magic tricks were rather cheesy but I did them to add more fun to an otherwise boring tutorial.
hi
where is the japanese restaurant thanks
It’s Shin Kushiya Japanese Restaurant at Vivocity.
Hi Renzze, did you use Apple Garde Rain & Stain Repellent on all your bags? Is this product effective?
Corr, I’ve used it on quite a few of my bags and it’s been great so far. Haven’t had time to coat all my bags so I only tend to use them on the bags I carry out more often.
I added your blog to bookmarks. And i’ll read your articles more often!
Do you mind recommending me eye cream that works well on fine lines? The current one i am using, seem to be too oily for me. Thanks. =)
hazel, The best I’ve tried is Le Mer Eye Concentrate… very pricey but it really works! A cheaper alternative is ROC Retin-OX+ Intensive Eye Anti-Wrinkle Care.
Bali time soon? I just came back from there – did a lot of diving and met up with some friends at Ku De Ta (which is madly expensive by Bali standards but worth a try!)
Kanos, yes in just a few days… I honestly can’t wait!
any idea where i can get them from sg? btw, i think most of the shoe u wear are pretty! =)
Hazel, Le Mer can be bought at CK Tangs or Taka though I tend to get mine at the airport. As for ROC, you can get it at some pharmacies. I haven’t used ROC in a long time so I’m not sure.
b4 u leave for bali, pls update your organizer for our adventure: 26th Sep 2009 😛
aquariss, OK babe. 26th Sept is set!
Where are you staying?
Kanos, sorry but that question is a little too private for me to reply.
Thanks!!
hi renzee! i noticed that you’re a cabin crew! may i know how tall are you and which airlines are you from? thank you! 😀
Elaine, I’m not a cabin crew… lol…
Hi, I enjoy reading yr post. cheers
Laura, I’m glad you do and thanks for letting me know!
Err…I meant on Bali! 😛
Kanos, Whoopsie!!! Silly me! I’ll be staying at the Grand Bali and at the Khayangan Estate during my friend’s wedding.
Cool! Is that in Nusa Dua? Let me know if you need any recommendations since I just returned from there – on food, drivers etc!
Kanos, Grand Bali is at Nusa Dua but the villa will be at Uluwatu. I’ve been to bali quite a few times already so I do have some contacts there but you can still share what you enjoyed the most!
Let me try to summarise in a few words then! Menega Cafe (be careful – you WILL end up smelling like what you ate!) is about the only honest joint for seafood on the beach. Try Toya Spa if you like massages!
Think that just as you’re in Bali, I’ll be summiting 3,776m in Japan and hope to catch what is said to be the most amazing sunrise in the land! Keeping fingers crossed that there,s no rain!
Kanos, Thanks for the tips. And your Japan trip sounds amazing! You’re gonna have such an incredible experience!
hi may i know how much u charge for a fashion advertorial with sponsored pieces? do you have an email address that i can contact u at? thanks
advertorial, you may send me your shop link at renzze@gmail.com for me to take a look.
ur post “Blue Blood” is very inspiring, makes me feel slightly better as I m gg through some problems
Barley, I’m glad you liked the post. Take care and don’t let the problems bog you down. Ride them over.
Saw an etheral sunrise from the top of Fujisan. Feet aching as hell now but it is a once in the lifetime affair after all!!!
Kanos, You are one lucky fellow!!! I’d love to be there!
hi can u do a tutorial on how to you curl yr hair?it look fantastic i hv fine hair, curls dun stay thanks in advance
jenny, I have fine hair too! If you find that your curls don’t stay you can use hair spray.
i totally adore what you say in yr blue blood. cheers!!
jessie, glad you liked reading. =)
hmm .. who are the goodun who think you r living off ur hubby or family? since e day i ever read ur blog, it jus dawned upon me dat female these days can b v independent n u inspired me, it nv once came across u were living off someone. ur independence n confidence is e main reason i continued to read till now. jus ignore the ignorants.
Kate, Thanks for your vote of confidence. I guess when you have something so public like a blog, you’re bound to run into some misunderstandings with readers.
i love ur blue dress with the gold chains!! may i know where u got it from =D
melody, I got the blue dress from FEP.
you look nice in all the pics and you take nice pics too 🙂
your dad look so young, i thikn he could be even mistaken as ur hub, ur dad look like he only at most 10-15 yrs so senior. think u inherit his young genes too 🙂 envy!
Samantha, thanks. My dad does look young for his age… and so do I. But I guess if you are young at heart it shows through.
heys babe, myntloves from CC here! 😀 love yr photos and i have that dress you wore on august 17th too! 🙂 chic 😛 hehe. btw, what camera did you use for the photos! 🙂 thanks, xoxo.
noi, Thanks!! Some of the photos were taken with my canon ixus 860I compact camera and some were taken with Canon DSLR 300D. Usually I just use the compact camera though.
Think i’m even luckier cos my partner was with me!!!
Kanos, thats really sweet!
renzze did u re-perm ur hair? it’s very bouncy and voluminous recently. how do you make the curls so defined?
lil_piggie, I did re-perm my hair not too long back =) But the curls are also more defined only when I blow dry the hair.
Hi karen! I am looking for a new camera. Your night shots look good, was wondering whether u used flash in those shots? And are those taken with ur canon or DSLR? Thanks!
Lucbabe,
My night shots in the recent posts were taken with my canon ixus. Quality is ok for online purposes but the DSLR definitely gives way better shots.
the f21 black lace dress fits you really well, was eyeing it for quite a while. did u need to alter it? 🙂
elle,
I bought this dress sometime last year when it first came out. The first batch was totally sold out and I could only get my hands on a M-sized piece so I definitely had to alter it.
i loveee the big black bow on yr hair!! soo sweet=D i know ya do collect hair bow? any particular place ya normally get them from? you look ggod in the makeup. =D
jessie,
Thanks! I love the hair bows I get from Korea most! They have so many designs and colors and of pretty good quality.
i like ur black dress which u wore for the wed dinner!! can share where u bought from? 😀 Oh and thanks alot for replyin my email~ gd day to u!
Elyn,
The black dress is from F21. It’s still available!
How’s Bali so far? Having a romantic time? 😉
Kanos, Bali was as fantastic as I remembered it!
Renzze, do u apply sunblock whenever u step out of your house? Care to share which brand of the sunblock are u using?
Xuan, I’m not always so disciplined with my sunblock application but I do try to apply it especially when I know I’ll be out in the sun all day. I’m currently using the Fancl one.
heya renzze where are ur shades from in ur latest post? 🙂
mel, these shades were bought at Robinsons.
hi babe, may i know where did u get your recent white dresses from? the one from your latest post & the other which you wore to your friend’s morning wedding ceremony? am looking for white dresses as my friend’s wedding theme is white & it’s so difficult to find nice white dresses. thanks!
SG, the white dress with checks belt is from FEP and the one I wore as a bridesmaid for my friend, Wendy’s wedding is from F21.
hi,
would like to look at your wedding photos, but couldn’t get in with the password u given.
Charmaine, sorry but those pictures are now only meant for friends and family. Had to many photos “stolen” and placed elsewhere.
Hi babe, what’s the hotel u stayed in Tokyo recently?
WEndii, It was at Sakura hotel.
Hey babe, which Sakura Hotel did you stay at? Understand there are a few locations. I’m heading to Japan next month! 🙂
Regina, the one I stay at is Sakura at Ikebukuro (池袋).
Hi can i know what pass you bought to travel around Tokyo on the train?
Angel, I didn’t buy a train pass. I just paid the fare for the single trip ticket whenever I needed to travel cause I don’t travel that much in a day. Tend to stay at one area or walk around from place to place in the same area.
Hi can i know what train pass did you buy to travel around tokyo? Thanks =)
hi renzze, may i know where did you get the blue dress from? Is very lovely. Thanks.
lin, the dress was bought in KL.
I think u should stick to the canon ixus, it gives good pictures and its easy to carry around! Or u may want to try the panasonic LX3?
sunflower, Thanks for your opinions! the LX3 is a definite high on my list…. It’s been recommended by so many as well.
Hi there, can i know where did u get your shoes in yr entry titled ‘ home in my heart?’ thanks a million
Jen, I got it from a spree by melissa shoes.
Angel, just get yourself a Pasmo or Suica stored value card. Its like ez-link.
Get a Sony Cybershot. Cos I own one 🙂
Kanos, lol… I have a sony HD video cam but I won’t be getting a cybershot cause I prefer leica lens.
Hi, Is the shoes from melissa..comfortable to wear?
S, the shoes are pretty ok for me so far.
Thanks!
hi renzze, love ur lashes. Mind sharing the brand and if its easy to put on?
ec, I used quite a few different brands. Currently I’m using MAC and also those I gotten at the drugstores in Japan. Putting on lashes is a little like putting on contact lens, it’s difficult when you first start but once you know how to do it, you don’t even have to think about it.
hi pretty, i want the white multi heart dress
momo, Sorry but that dress is currently pending a buyer. Will let you know if the deal falls through.
I would like to purchase your White Arrival for my wife.
Keith, that’s really sweet! Unfortunately, white arrival is currently pending another buyer. I’ll let you know if she lets it up.
hi babe, you been to Batam i suppose. Can you email the place you go for massage? I wan to go for massage in a decent place. thank you
hi have you been to Hokkaido b4??
J, I usually just go for the hotel spa at Harris or Holiday Inn when I visit Batam.
JJ, I’ve not been to Hokkaido before though I hope to be able to squeeze a trip into my schedule next year.
Hi, may i know both ur chanel black classic flaps are caviar or lambskin? Thanks!
Mod, I have both lambskin and caviar.
Oic, then may I know the black Chanel jumbo classic flap that you shared with us in your (i think) last month fotos is caviar or lambskin? Cos I’m now thinking which to get: Caviar/Lambskin, Jumbo/Medium. Talk about indecisiveness! haha.. Thanks!
Mod, the black jumbo is in caviar. You’ll see it in again in my post today.
Ooh Hokkaido – just went last year to ski! Hit me up if you intend to go – I know a nice Aussie family who owns a ski lodge up there and they offered to give special prices to my friends during peak season!
Kanos, that’s fantastic! Will definitely ask you for travel tips when I’m going.
which collection is your chanel dress from? whats the damage?
reb, I bought this piece off season piece in Japan. It’s from 05 collection if I’m not wrong. Got it at a bargain of $950 =)
the hat that you wore with your yello outfit is super nice and versatile!!
xiaoxin, thanks! I like that hat too… great for sunny days!
Hey babe! nice playing mahjong with u today! its 7am and i still cannot sleep!! hahaha
Melva, it’s was really nice meeting you too! Lego queen! I was so wiped out when I came home… no stamina!
hi karen, can u share with me the sizing for club couture. love some of their dresses. but afrid that the size does notfit true. i am ard 165cm. wt ard 50kg. what size u think is appropriate?thks.
shermaine,
Their size charts are a pretty good gauge for sizes. If you’re a UK size 4/6/8 you can go for small.
Hi Renzze, any nice hotels to recommend near shibuya area? budget is about SGD 150 per night. Thanks
bargainqueen, I don’t normally stay at Shibuya area so I’m not too sure. You can try asiatravel.com to compare the different hotel rates in the shibuya district.
babe, any Sculpting lotion that you can recommend? I just permed my hair. =)
Wendii, You can try Small talk by TIGI.
are you married? 🙂
lindsay, yes!
Hi Renzze, I’m curious but what is ur profession?
Jscyt, I’m in the research industry.
In Tokyo, try the Washington chain or Villa Fontaine chain – they both have good websites and give good offers for travellers.
errrmmm… abit OT… but can i know where clara got her dress? Geez
crystal,
lol… I’m not sure about that… gotta ask her.
hey how much did you get the SF hair clip and band? at paragon?
moi, i can’t remember how much the hair clip was but the hair band is $130.
okay! cos i remembered reading your blog few years ago and had the impression you were married. 🙂
Hi Kanos, which Villa Fontaine Chain hotel should i stay for easy accessibility to main areas like Shibuya etc.?
they dun grow in mineral btl but were placed inside the btl. there is a slit on each btl but not obvious 😉 if i’m not wrong, they r mantis shrimps (賴尿蝦) 🙂 happy weekend!!
Junkie,
Wow… thanks for the info! =)
Try Shinjuku its easy access to everywhere!
Whoa what inspired that clarification post??? Its almost like a warning to some 😛
Kanos, lol… it’s really more of a clarification rather than a warning. I just have been having too many misunderstandings for too long so I thought it best to clear it all up.
hi babe! am going to beijing for a trip but totally clueless as to where to shop! hv u been there b4? any advices/where for good shopping? tia!
niki, the last time I was in Beijing was years ago… at least 10! And 新光天地 is where all the brand names are.
haa, babe, ur friend audrey is actually smaller than you?!!!
Melva,
lol… I was wearing heels la. If you are joining us for baking on tues, you’ll get to meet her.
ok la, i’ll come by for baking, to help u eat the end product!! HAHAHA she still looks smaller la… sigh, i will always feel gigantic.. haha
Melva, lol… ok… since you never bake…. you can eat all the chao ta ones! Hahah! She’s a tad smaller la… but not as small as Chelsea!
Are u an air stewardess?
Onlooker, nope!
wow tat sounds really helpful! thanks so much babe! ur so kind!
Hi, the noodles that you all had looks nice. Is the noodle stall at downtown east or somewhere else?
Sarah, The noodles were so-so, not that fantastic but if you wanna give it a go, it’s inside Ehub near Mr. Chicken Rice.
Hi Renzze, enjoy reading your blog a lot. Need some advise from you, do you have any recommendation for affordable cheongsam for a petite gal? Tks in advance
pyxis, chongsums should always be tailored to fit in my opinion. There’s a seamstress that does chongsum on the 2nd floor of pple’s park market. It ranges from $80 to $200 if I remember correctly.
as in the short building next to OG? Do you have the name of the shop. So diff to get fitting clothes cos of my size
pyxism, yup that’s the building. I only remember it to be on the 2nd floor… not sure what’s the name.
Any advice? Thks!
Partricia,
Korea’s winter can be pretty cold. If you want to get a trench, get one with thicker linings. Or you could just layer up and buy your coats when you are in Korea. Don’t forget to wear your gloves and scarf!
hi renzze, may i know where are the dress + shoes u wore for Sing Dollar from? Very pretty
summer,
The dress is from ASOS and the shoes I got them earlier this year during my Japan trip.
nice outfit renzze! i love the shoes and the matching clutch! 🙂
Elven, thanks!
I reli like ur curls in this post ‘ Sing Dollar’. How did u achieve that bouncy curls? 🙂
Wendii, I already have permed hair so to have bouncier curls I have to blow dry my hair…. preferably with a diffuser.
Thanks!
Hey I wanted to get that Juicy Couture bikini on asos too but held back cuz of the price and now its all out of my size.. Good choice made! Love the colour combi! How much does the top and bottom piece cost in the SG boutique? Rem they cost 75 pds each on asos.. TIA!
Cal,
I can’t remember the exact price but it’s about $150 for top and $150 for the bottom.
sweetz, did you mention before you’re about 1.5m-ish?? you look really tall in your pics! pretty 🙂
gina, thanks, I’m only a tiny 1.55m.
where did u bought the purple heels?
phytan, I got it from melissa shoes.
Rose,
I got that in Korea.
Nice site!
wots the addy of the xo hokkien mee? they look so yummy! i totally wanna go try it! =)
esther,
You can check out their website at http://www.kims.com.sg/
Oh which part of Seletar Hills was that? I live so near but don’t recognise the place.
sunflower, I’m not too sure how to answer that cause I actually recognize the place by sight rather than road names. But you can see the row of shop houses from the main road and at the entrance there is a sign that states seletar hills.
hi renzee 🙂 i love reading your blog, im around your height and i love getting ideas on how to dress from you cos while you look young, you also always manage to look so willowy and elegant! noticed that you have so many pairs of cute wedges, where do you normally buy them? am always on the look-out for more. haha. take care and stay pretty 🙂
Fwah…didn’t know hawkers these days have websites!!!
Kanos, lol… nowadays everyone has a website! Hawkers as well! In fact I know some that has twitter or facebook too!
Your new conditioning tutorial video is awesome!! I love that you used magic tricks again! I really love your blog, you seem so nice!! I love reading your entries 🙂
Emeline, Glad you liked the video and thanks for the support! Lol… I added the cheesy magic trick in an attempt to give the video a more light-hearted tone.
Hey Karen.. can sent me the video of forest adventure when u uploaded it to computer? Thanks 🙂
Mike,
I’ll upload the video on my blog once it’s ready… don’t expect it to be soon though cause I’m pretty caught up these days and would be leaving for a trip next mth.
hi, I like your longchamp keychain. It is so lovely! I’m tempted to get one for myself
Del,
I’m not too sure if it’s selling at the local boutiques cause Sushi got it in Paris… but it’s worth a shot. I think it makes a cut bag charm too.
I heart Rockband! Did you get the Beatles edition?
Kanos, I sure did!
Love that peep-toe lace up booties! May I know where did you get them?
Candy, they are from melissa shoes.
i’ve been reading ur blog n’ i must say i love reading it 🙂 i saw ur friend, clara n’ her bf at pump room.. she has bang now..
Sweetgirl, thanks! Yup Clara now has bangs!
how much is that pair of slippers… heart it
kit, I heart it too! That’s why I bought it even though I wasn’t too sure if it’ll be too young for me. It’s not too ex… about SGD100++… I can’t remember the exact price cause I bought it together with a few other items.
hey renzze !
where did u brought the longchamp limited edition bag (the totebag with the badge )??? i thought its out of stock in sin ?
interested, I got mine when it first came out in London. Didn’t check the local store.
hi, where do you get the wedge ya wore in the outing with the girls from? can i ask what size do ya wear? =D
jessie, I got that pair from melissa shoes.
Hey girl, what number is your MaC eyelash? and how many times do you normally re-use one?
shelly, can’t remember the MAC lash no. but whenever I use MAC I go for the least dramatic one cause all their lashes are really long. I reuse them from 5-8 times depending how how long I wear them for.
I like your hoody dress! i like hoodies and i love grey! 🙂
xiaoxin, thanks! I like grey too!
hi renzze, i lovee reading your blog!!and you and clar skin is so glowing?btw is clara and gio together?
kinkigal,
Your comments made my day! Clara and Gio are no longer together.
Hi renzze, love seeing your daily outfit posts. Btw u look prettier when u smile wider eg. 1st pic of “homecooked with love” post (:
Audrey, lol… I will try to keep that in mind. But I tend to not really know how to smile on camera…. it’s the candid shots that are nicest.
Hi Renzze, may i know which salon did u go for your perm? The curls looks great!!!
