Sushi's May BBQ

We had an impromptu BBQ session at Sushi’s place early May. Sushi had bought her BBQ pit for New Year’s celebration on 31 Dec 08 but I was in Europe at that time and was unable to attend so they wanted to do another BBQ session! Unfortunately I was quite sick for awhile in April and was nursing a terrible sore throat. Finally, when the skies seem clear and my throat was well recovered we had our BBQ!

Sushi and Daryl did most of the heavy lifting this time round. They went from Giant to Cold Storage to the Butchery to get all the best ingredients for the BBQ. I was caught up with work and was only able to meet them at Cold Storage for the final ingredients round up before heading to their place for some action in the kitchen.

It was a great BBQ with good wine, yummy food ( the cheese portobellos and  gourmet steaks where a hit), some cool guitar hero jamming, car washing at 3am ( this one was a little out of the blue) and most importantly good conversations with the closest of friends and their family. I haven’t have much photos to share with you all on the BBQ day other then these outfit shots I took cause I was having too much fun! Plus I generally hate doing night shots! Blame that on my jittery fingers.

But there is video!!! So if you wanna know what happened? Tune in.

Your hair looks amazing in this particular post. Is it self styled or you have just emerged from the salon. I pore over your words so I think it’s more the former than the latter cos you have work to catch up on earlier.

God. You need to pen a book on maintaining impeccable style and grace for us busy ladies. You are an authority on the subject matter. =)

    Ivy,

Thanks! I’m very flattered by your comments. I don’t always have time to do my hair… only when I wake up early… and I’m definitely no guru on this matter… in fact, I take a lot of tips from my friend, Clara, which has a knack for such matters.

    hui hui,

The ” dress” is from HK. It’s actually meant to be a long top but on petite me, it looks more like a dress so I just throw on a pair of safety shorts and was good to go.
