Penang's Famous Curry Fish Head

When one thinks of  Penang, it’s hard not to think of all the yummy food Penang has to offer. And usually we’ll scour the depths of Gurney Drive for Penang Laksa, Cha Kway Teow and all the other local delights. But this time my FIL recommended we try out Restaurant 77 for their curry fish head and other dishes.

Restaurant 77 is located on a small stand alone shop house along Gurney Drive.

It’s probably the most simple dish of the lot but I do enjoy the fish toufu squares.

I heard the prawns were pretty good too but I didn’t try it myself.

Sambal kangkong is a dish that rarely goes wrong!
