Ku De Ta @ Marina Sands

I had so much fun the last time I visited Ku De Ta in Bali, Indonesia. So now that Ku De Ta has opened a brunch at the Marina Sands Sky Park, we had to at least try it for ourselves. The skypark is one of Singapore’s newest and most iconic architecture and is definitely worth visiting at least once. The company was great but the bar and club however was a little over hyped. The normal cover charge  is $50 a person and since the day we went had a guest DJ, cover charge was a whooping $68 per person which is definitely the most expensive cover in Singapore. If you happen to be in the area for dinner, shopping or trying your luck at the casino, I recommend you head up to the club to get your entry validated before going to do your various activities as cover is waived before 9pm.

I would probably give Ku De Ta another try but this time, I’ll be trying out the restaurant.

Erm… this Ku De Ta you visited is not associated with the one you went in Bali. This one in MBS is now facing a law suit from the original Ku De Ta in Bali now. But I think your association of both is precisely what Ku De Ta, Bali, was talking about. But as customers, we are easily misled so what would we know until the original set the record straight.

“The plaintiffs argued that the continued use of the Ku De Ta name will confuse and mislead customers into believing that there is a connection between the goods, services and business of the Singapore and Bali venues, given that they are both restaurants, clubs and bars.

      Ed,

Thanks for informing! I didn’t know that they were not the same company till I read your comment! But I guess the only connecting references to the 2 clubs other then the name is the partner Mr Chornos who runs both Ku De Ta in Bali as well as Singapore.
