Here’s a short recap of February 2014. It’s just last month but feels so long ago already!
I can’t believe I was still celebrating Chinese New Year just a month ago. Here I am with my favourite my little pony character, Rainbow Dash!
I finally made my first trip to Singapore River Safari to see the super cute giant pandas. It was a nice day out with my out of town pals – Clara and Celeste (and her whole family).
Yes I had more yusheng than I can remember during CNY. This one was a mini celebration dinner with dear friends Sushi and Regina.
I felt so sluggish after just gorging non-stop the whole festive season that I just had to find time to head down to my favourite hot yoga place, Updog Studio.
I also took up lessons in Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Board and it was incredibly fun but also left me 2-3 shades darker in one afternoon.
I attended the Silk Air launch and had fun with Rachie and Lavina. I take SIA or SilkAir pretty often and always love their services on board.
Found a little opening in my schedule just long enough for me to sneak off to Maldives to chill. I love doing nothing and walking up to the sea.
Nights are spent at the bar, chatting and enjoying the skies with the sound of the waves rushing to shore.
Maldives is so gorgeous, no filter is needed at all! The waters are that clear, blue and magical. I also loved the super red head of hair I had then, courtesy of my stylist Masa of Naoki Yoshihara by Ash Salon.
I was seriously tiny next to this freshly caught 80kg yellowfin tuna and it wasn’t even the largest of the lot.
I was just playing with water and acting all goofy when I got caught on camera. I guess Maldives brings out the free spirit in me.
I bought this black L*Space swimwear eons ago on my shopping trip with Sushi in Japan and it’s still one of my favourite go-to swimwear for vacations.
I have such a soft spot for monokinis. Took one last pic before heading for buffet breakfast and creating curves in all the wrong places.
Loved the low slinky back of this ClubCouture dress! It’s just holiday casual perfect and takes me from romantic walks by the beach to fine dining under the stars at the clubhouse.
This was taken on my last evening in Maldives when I was completely spent after snorkelling the whole day and I fell asleep on the beach.
Here’s a simple healthy home cooked meal I did on my first weekend back in Singapore. Doesn’t look like much but I loved every last bit of it.
Headed to Updog Studio for more yoga! I always try to make it for class to make up for not exercising when I travel.
Attended the NE8 Awards ceremony and celebrated the achievements of my teams.
Off again I go! This time to KL to meet friends and catch up on more delicious eats.
Had the most awesome breakfast spread at KL City Market with friends. Everything was so sumptuous that I couldn’t help over eating. What you see in the photo wasn’t even everything cause the food came in batches. The old school coffee was to-die-for.
Went for an art jamming session and learnt to paint on silk. I’m not much of an artist but here’s sharing my art piece.
Had home cooked Yong Tao Fu with friends at my place in KL.
SO. DAMN. GOOD.
Darmi and Aikee are geniuses in the kitchen and always whipping out yummy dishes. There was even buffalo curry and other dishes not shown in the picture as well.
Loving Spuds & Aprons at Mount Faber. Great for a romantic date. Look out for my post on them coming Monday!
