Boxing Day Brunch

After the crazy Christmas dinner party at my place, I wondered how I even managed to get up early for brunch with Wendy and Regina! Andrew extended his stay in Singapore just 2 hours before he was supposed to depart because the party ended so late and he was having so much fun in Singapore (I hope!).

Brunch was at Prive, Keppel Bay Vista. It was crowded but I had expected even more crowd considering that it was boxing day.The food was really good and I love my eggs benedict!

Wendy’s Christmas gift to me was a gorgeous pink swarovski pen which I absolutely love and has currently secured permanent housing in my work bag. As usual, we all caught up with each others lives over brunch and made plans to meet again after we came back from Bangkok and before Regina leaves for Sydney.

After brunch, while waiting for JW to come pick Regina up, we decided to walk around the Keppel Bay area to take photos. It’s my first time walking around actually. Previously, I’ve always just came, ate and left. The surrounding area is actually pretty scenic and it’s one of the rare times we have Wendy as the subject of the photographs instead of her behind the camera.

Boxing day was a day of detox after all the massive parties I’ve been attending and hosting since way before Christmas. And I really liked the slow and easy day I was having with the girls strolling around greenery.

I spent the 2nd half of the day doing a little shopping with Andrew before heading back to my place for a gaming session. I really could use a little down time once in awhile. In fact, after doing the photos for this post, I realized how much I am in a need of  ‘me’ time and have planned a day this weekend to do nothing but read, relax and people watch.

Here’s the outfit that I wore that day.
