I just finished watching the Beijing 2008 Olympics Opening Ceremony and I have to say I’m mighty impressed. The whole event was very well coordinated and artistically designed. I guess I’ll be glued to the TV for awhile now catching all the events!

I wore this simple tube tunic and shorts awhile back to purchase my rock band instruments. Been hooked ever since… now I’m totally looking forward to Rock Band 2 release in Sept!

I also might be going to Germany this month and will be a free and easy kinda trip. I would appreciate any tips or advise on the places to visit or the transportation.

Germany is huge. Which part of Germany & where is your arrival point: Frankfurt or Munich? Munich is a better arrival point if u arrive by Lufthansa which now has direct flight from Spore. Munich airport is a much more pleasant & well designed airport than Frankfurt. Munich is located in the state of Bavaria:

    1) Day trip from Munich – Must see – Neuschwanstein aka Cinderalla castle in the town of Fussen where Walt Disney modelled his theme parks on. Super guarantee for the Wow wow wow factor. You need to get to the suspension bridge behind the castle to get the best vantage shots of this castle. Very shiok!

    2) Bamberg, Bavaria – For the old town feel, very Germanic like fairy tales Grimm brothers sceneries.

    3) Stuttgart – Home of Mercedes Benz and also its Museum. Beautifully designed with the best of the best Mercs there.

    4) Dresden – formerly part of Communist Eastern Germany. It looks very much like Italy here cos of its buildings & the layout of the beautiful old city & countryside. Its know as German Tuscany. Beautiful old buildings. Lovely palaces visit Gruner Room or the Green Room for its beautiful ornamental crown jewellery, a vast collection.

As I said Germany is Huge, what do you like to see, my tastes are different from yours. See more:

Thanks for the recommendation. I haven’t fixed the locations I’m heading to yet but I’ll be taking a SIA direct flight to Frankfurt. Munich and Cologne are on my list of places to go.

Hey, you play Rock Band too!
My friends and I are hooked on it and we play together very regularly.
In fact, both our guitars just gave up yesterday. LOL

I’m waiting for Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero World Tour!

Now just to get that stupid PC up so I can continue my Age of Conan.

Ya I usually play as the drummer or singer. I’m also waiting for rock band 2 especially since I can’t buy songs for rock band online due to the required US credit card. How is age of Conan? Nicer than WOW?

I’m usually the drummer and once in a while guitarist. One of my friends is a really good singer so he’s usually on the mike.
I don’t have a US credit card too but I still manage to download the songs using a virtual credit card and creating a US account with a VPost address on my PS3. If you want to find out more, maybe you can email me. 🙂

Among my circle, we found out the the girls are better drummers then the guys, which is a really sore point with them. haha

I didn’t play WOW so I can’t really compare. Futhermore, I only managed to play a little before my computer died on me. But AoC is soloable and I do not intend to play seriously on the endgame content. Too much raids in EQ2 has given me a phobia. :p

In my circle the people are highly multi-talented… able to play well both on in drums and guitars on expert levels… but no one can sing except me… lol… so while it’s not the most exciting thing… i take the singing spot ever so often. I’ve heard of the virtual credit card but haven been pretty hesitant on how safe it is. Please email me the details at renzze@gmail.com

    Thanks so much!
