The both girls celebrated their birthdays in their own special way. Clara spent it having dinner with Matt and Koji spent her’s at Chanel with her husband and me picking out her big birthday gift. Her hubby eventually settled on getting her a maxi Chanel classic flap in lambskin which is absolutely gorgeous!
But the girls wanted to have an intimate birthday dinner… just 3 of us… no husbands, boyfriends or any other friends. Something small and quiet. So after work, I went for a little bit of present shopping and then went to the Fremantle Fish Market at Clark Quay to meet them for supper.
The seafood were really nice and fresh and it’s a pity I could only stick with the fish orders cause of my allergies. Still, many thanks to Clara for the sumptuous meal!
We had a great time catching up, talking about work, life, boys and boys to come. We reminisced about how we spent their birthdays last year and whether the 3 of us would be any different by the time the next birthday comes around. And time passes so quickly when you are happy! We continued our chit-chat session at Nectarie le Dessert Patisserie for some good cakes and desserts!
I wish both Koji and Clara the best of what life can bring to them. May Clara find true love that exceeds her every expectation and may Koji find endless delights and be surrounded by love from her husband and wonderful son. My thoughts and love are with you always in every prayer I make. And may we stay friends for a long time more to come with every birthday celebration in each others company.
