Wavehouse Supper

Headed down to WaveHouse with Regina and friends to have supper! Well, its supper for me and surfing for them. Regina and I decided to skip the surfing and join as spectators that night. I’ve tried surfing in the US and took lessons on the famed surf beaches along the Atlantic ocean coastlines 7 to 8 years ago! Time passes so quickly and it almost feels like a lifetime ago when I first handled a surfboard. It was really thrilling and I remember having more difficulties with battling the strong waves going out with my huge surfboard then riding the waves . I was really amped about surfing when I headed to Australia but after a 2 wave hold down, I chickened out of the sports and never looked back. Wavehouse looks fun because the element of danger is much lower, but I don’t know if I still have it in me to give it another go!

Kuddos to Jun, Tian, Mavis and the other friends who were exceptionally game to try the surf even though some of them were intimidated by the harsh wipeout that seemed certain to bring bruises. Qian caught everyone’s attention that night with her screams but I feel that she’s really brave to face her fears head on. The huge glass of beer she drank before she went on the waters must have been a great courage boost!

On a side note, I got to meet briefly with Lady Ayn Rose when JW gave me a lift home that day as well. Although I didn’t manage to spend a lot of time with her, I got to know her a little better through messages over Facebook. She’s really passionate about fashion so here’s a shout out for her blog, Lady Ayn Rose that covers fashion and lifestyle. If you are keen to gain a couple of fashion tips, take a visit!
