{Throwback Thursdays} How to Change A Car Tire?

It seemed like only months ago when I encountered a flat tyre. I was driving along when I heard some strange noises after I went past a hump. When I drove over to a quiet spot and got down to check, I realized that one of my rear tires had 3 screws/nails into it. I’m not sure if it was by accident or a prank that someone left nails/screws lying around face up for an unsuspecting car to drive over it.

Anyhow, I ended up making an impromptu video on how to change your car tires. I guess in Singapore it’s not that big a deal because you can always call AA, a family, a friend or just drive straight to the nearest workshop because Singapore is just that small. But I’ve done solo driving road trips in the USA and there are parts where civilization seemed to have forgotten and it might be miles before the next help station so I was taught to change my own tires. That being said, this was my first time actually changing a tyre all by myself so I’m glad I was able to do it without too much problem. The car manual helps a lot so make sure you always have it in your car.

So for this week’s Throwback Thursday post, I’ll share with you my impromptu “How to Change a Tire” video tutorial.

You can also view the video on my YouTube channel – Renzze’s YouTube Channel.

I may not be an expert in cars but I still managed to change my own tire so I hope this video will help you too!

I was supposed to be meeting friends that day and running quite a few errands but after my unfortunate flat tire, I just went for a one-dish lunch and called it a day.
