Pop of color and a midnight massage

Just wanted to share an old outfit post that I’ve never put up on my blog. These days I’m usually in tees and shorts but these photos were taken at a time where I still dressed to work 😉

Dress: Ching

Bag: Hermes

I went through a phase where I went crazy about stripes and laser cutouts and this dress had both of these elements in it.

Earrings: Chanel

Watch: Cartier

Heels: Charlotte Olympia

As an added bonus, below is a photo of Louis, my cocker spaniel that is always looking on whenever I take my outfit of the day photos.  He brought his tug-of-war toy bunny out and waited patiently till I was done before he can get a quick playtime with me.

I want to share another discovery with you too! Midnight massages in Singapore.

My girlfriend Sushi and I are fans of massages. But my day is usually jammed packed weeks in advance and Sushi has to make sure her little boy Leo goes to dreamland before she can sneak out of the house. We’ll usually meet for dinner and head to our usual midnight massage spa called Wongz. We have been doing this routine for years and many of our friends have joined us on our midnight massages but it seems that our usual joint has been getting so popular, we can hardly even secure a late night slot with 24 hours notice. Thus, over time, we sort of stopped our late night massage outings.

After a long time of not having frequent massages, my stiff shoulders are starting to call for help. I went to a couple of day spas which was fantastic but its during the periods where I don’t even have the time in the day to spend at the Spa that I needed my massages the most.

Finally I found another massage joint that will be my new substitute.

This no frills spa is open 24 hours! Which means it accommodates your time and you can schedule a session whenever you have spare time. Be it after a late night massage to rub sore muscles from a non-stop dance session at the clubs, or a early morning pampering before you head to work, or even an afternoon quick lunchtime nap and massage hideout. How awesome! Sushi and I can now resume our owly ways!

Although it’s no frills, the place is still very welcoming and gives an air of quiet privacy.

There are single rooms and also couple rooms with nice bath tubs. I’ll probably ask for the couple room so Sushi and I can catchup on our day while we get our sore muscles some deep rubbing.

For those who prefer foot reflexology, they too offer that service with comfy leather chairs and a nice tv screen in one of their rooms.

Here comes the best part. Even though this place is open 24 hours, the prices here are lower that what we pay for our usual midnight spa! Double bonus!

Body massages are $30 for 30 mins, $40 for 40 mins , $50 for 60 mins and $75 for 90 mins!

I would think that you should go for at least one hour, if you do the full body massage. (In case you are interested to compare, my previous midnight spa charged $75 for 60mins!)

Foot massages are $38 for 60mins and you can add an additional $2 for foot spa.

You can add ear candling or jade gua sha into your sessions as well. The topups are $10 each for each additional service.

Well, now you know where you can head to if you are in need for some TLC at the weirdest hours. In fact, I can’t wait to go soon cause I have this dull ache on my shoulders that need to be eased.

      Hi JK,

It’s at 709 East Coast Road. Think it’s called spa lifestyle now but it’s the same owner.
