No Signboard

I’ve such a difficult schedule to plan these days so lots of thing to do before I leave for my next trip. I won’t be spending my birthday in Singapore again… it’s almost a trend now.

Lots of weddings and baby 1st month parties to attend as well.ย Judgingย from the sudden influx of invitations I get you can probably guess I’m not very young anymore.

My life is probably going to go some huge radical adjustments end of next year and I don’t know if I’m gonna be able to handle it well. I’m thinking of working out of Singapore for a while, just a year or two to gain some experience and lifestyle change. Where I will go yet, I do not know cause every location needs careful consideration. My dogs are another huge factor cause I hope to bring them with me.

Meanwhile, life goes on as usual. I try to meet my friends whenever I can, to spend quality time catching up before the tide of busyness washes us all away.

Back to the current, I wore ย a very simple outfit for errands and meeting up with friends. It was a really comfy tee shirt dress that I added some texture through the use of a belt with crystal design.

I had a lot of readers telling me I should wear these sweet shoes more often cause they are so pretty and I don’t have to worry about looking overly dainty in them. So I listened and made an effort to wear them out again =)

I met up Chris, Jessie, Kenneth and Clara for dinner at No Signboard in Geylang. I much prefer the Geylang branch to the ECP one. And it also helps that they have free valet parking! Food was good but the company was better! Found out that Jessie was heavily expectant!!! Congratulations!!!!

      Meiling,

lol… yes it does seem that I have been having my bouts of busyness more often this year.

Don’t worry about my hubby, he’s a grown man and can take care of himself… my dogs can’t. There shouldn’t need to be a difference in lifestyle just because you are married. Trust has never been an issue and neither is a restriction of each others freedom. You don’t become a different person just because you are married; you’ll always be yourself that is committed to love another for life. The only lifestyle change I can see is only when kids are involved.

Hi hi! Did you change your camera recently? Find that the pictures in this post are exceptionally nice!

      pinky,

Sharp eyes! I did use a new camera for this post. I bought a Canon EOS 500D but for most of my post I’m still using my old compact camera cause I have done a big switch yet.

well, renzze seems very independent and that is admirable. whether her lifestyle should change because she is married, is between her and her husband so i don’t think we have any right to say she doesn’t care about him and only cares about the dogs.

renzze, i think your dainty heels really make this outfit. when i look at the dress/shirt cum dress on its own, it doesn’t catch my eye. but when i look at the full body length picture with those dainty shoes and their lovely delicate pink ribbons tied around your ankles, i really fall in love with your outfit ๐Ÿ™‚

with your positive attitude toward life i’m sure you can cut it anywhere. i wish you all the best.

    Xiaoqi,

Thanks for your confidence and well wishes! Change is the only constant so I’m pretty open to ideas now.

I guess this outfit is one of those where it allows the accessories shine. It’s a plain comfy tee shirt dress so without the belt, shoes and bag, it doesn’t have any eye catching details. The simpleness allowed me to go with those shoes that might be OTT on other outfits.

and it’s combining pink with grey too, one of my all time favourite colour combinations on clothes! ๐Ÿ™‚

are you really going to bring your dogs though? do pets accomodate easily to travelling? i feel like going to hk to work after i graduate. but there’s going to be a bit of language barrier there, my cantonese still has room for improvement.

btw, i replied your long comment on cozycot two days ago, did you see? ๐Ÿ˜€

    xiaoqi,

yup I saw your comment =)

Pink and grey is one of my favorite color combination as well… cause the effect is usually very soothing.

I don’t foresee Louis and Emmie having issues with travelling cause they settle to new places with no fuss. But I need to check out the requirements on the quarantine for dogs in the different countries cause some are quite ridiculous. Like when I checked UK, it was 6mths! That’s too much IMO unless they allow home quarantine.

Hong Kong is extremely fast paced, I used to work with some counterparts in HK and they can be so demanding cause they need everything right now. They find our pace too slow. Language-wise it’s not too bad cause you already have a Cantonese basic and it won’t be hard for you to learn and assimilate yourself.
