I’ve been basically sick for about a week or so already… before I left for my trip and now that I’m back in Singapore I’m not yet recovered. Having flu is the worst thing ever because it makes you tired and irritated without being a bad enough illness that would make me stop working. Basically it’s just a pain in the ass. I went to the doctor for the 2nd time this week and he told me I needed to rest more and drink more water. Argh!!! I can’t believe I paid money for that sort of advise though I must agree that it can only help. So I’ve not contacted my friends since I got back and have full intention to rest well and recover before meeting up with anyone.
I’m gonna post another long overdue post. This one is about the time Sushi and I went out to celebrate Melva’s birthday. I guess you all are probably used to my super back dated posts by now. I want so much to share with friends and readers but time is a huge constrain for me these few months. I’ll work hard at churning out the photos so my blog doesn’t get too backdated. Dear friends, have more patience with me… I’ll try to find time to upload and send out photos!
We met late for supper at Clarke Quay and decided on finger foods and beer at Brewerks. The place was crazily busy and packed with people!
I quite liked the food we ordered. Both Melva and Sushi ordered beers but I kept to non-alcoholic drinks. Partly because I was driving the girls that night and partly because I’ve never been a fan of beers.
I baked a simple chocolate cake as requested by the birthday girl and I’m glad she liked it. And of course no birthday celebration, big or small can be completed with out a birthday cake and birthday present. So here’s what we got for Melva.
A little hand phone charm that Melva was eying for! Sushi chose the color and I think she did a fantastic job cause this neutral color goes with anything.
As usual I’m gonna end this post with photos of the outfit I wore that day.
