Maxim Place Cityhall

Absolutely my favorite place to go for dim sum in Hong Kong. The bustling atmosphere, the great food and beautiful habour views are just some of the reasons that make this place so great. So since it was Elie’s first time having tim sum in Hong Kong, I brought her here.

The food is just as good as before though I didn’t over order as I usually end up doing when I come here. You can read all about my previous dining experience in my various trips to Hong Kong here at ” Avenue of Stars” and “Hong Kong”. And even catch a video of the place which I capture in my “All about HK” post.

It may not be the cheapest or the best place for tim sum (especially since Hong Kong is a food heaven!) but this place won my heart and stomach. The best time to go is 1130am before the crazy crowd comes and if you come after 12 noon, be prepared to queue! It’s always popular, even on weekdays!

If you’re in Hong Kong (especially the first-timers) you won’t regret giving them a try.

      Melody,

The last 2 or 3 times I went there, I actually took a cab. But if I don’t recall wrongly, it’s Exit K from the MTR.
