Makeup Guru

Before I move on to part 2 of Wendy’s and Patrick’s dinner, here’s a short post on my hair and makeup for the evening portion of the wedding.

Well, after lunch, I went to meet Clara and Gio in town.

Clara’s magical hands transformed my simple and plain day look into a more glamorous one! As much as I love to dress up, I can never seem to do really nice makeup. Or maybe I lack the patience.

Few people know this but Clara does hair and makeup as a side service on top of her usual nail services. If you want to hire an affordable MUA for a dinner or for a special occasion, you can contact her at petitenailhouse@gmail.com or drop her a text at 96714115.

See how she did my eyes.

you look great! do post a photo of your dress too!

clara seems good with hair too!
can you help find out how much would she charge for doing your hair/makeup for the wedding – as a rough gauge for everyone. 🙂

      Glitzy,

I posted the full length photo of the dress in the next post. Her charges are about S$50-60 for hair and makeup which is pretty reasonable.

it’s such a lolitaesque look, what with the sexy halter lace overlay, the cutesy big ribbon, and the pouf and curls of your hair! you definitely look great.

p/s thanks for the recommendation, please tell me what looks your friend clara is particularly good at creating!

      xiaoqi,

Lol… I was a little taken aback with my huge hair after she was done with her creation but had quite a few compliments that night. I’ve seen Clara work on quite a few people already and I think her strong point is that she can create looks that would fit the face shape of the client as well as in tune with the event theme. I’ve seen MUAs that have their own signature looks but it’s not necessarily for everyone.
