Laguna Redang

The trip details and logistics were organised by Michelle and we were staying at the Laguna Redang. The first thing that captivated us was the white sandy beaches and paradise worthy crystal clear waters! You don’t even need a snorkel to see the fishes swimming around you! It was so lovely!

In fact, we were so excited, we headed to the beach before we even got around to settling our check-in procedures for the rooms. On a side note, the welcome drink which was some honey sour plum drink was really yummy and refreshing!

I go to Malaysia rather frequently and I’m shocked that I haven’t gotten around to Redang sooner cause it’s now one of my favorite beach destinations. It’s so near to Singapore and by flight it’ll only take 40 mins. I heard from the locals that Redang’s water isn’t always crystal clear but if you come between late April to June, it’s the best time.

The other eastern island on the west coast of Malaysia I haven’t been to is Tioman so I’m currently planning to see if I should go but doing up these photos of my Redang trip is tempting me to choose Redang again!

I’ll be slowly watermarking and collaging the rest of the Rendang trip photos to share on my blog.

      Barley,

I can’t remember how long but I know it’s a terrible journey. Flight is definitely the way to go. In fact I recently didn’t go Tioman cause the flight was full and I refuse to do coach + ferry.
