KTV

Those of you who know me well would know I’m not a huge fan of KTV. I’m more of the singing in the car or in the shower sort. LOL… I know that there are many out there that go KTV every other night but for me it’s a rare thing cause I never see the purpose of spending so much to sing outside when I can sing at home. But Debbie introduced to us this really cheap deal and who knows… I might be a convert!

Somehow that day my friends got me geared up for some KTV action. Even Bernice who was so close to her due date came along!

To little Arielle (Bernice’s daughter), these pictures are probably the last pictures of you in your mummy’s tummy… you were delivered to the world 2 days later.

And boy did we all had fun singing all sort of  music from Taylor Swift to Lady Gaga to 3OH!3 to ABBA.  It was a really fun mix with lots of laughter!

Sushi loved her Backstreet boys and got Kelvin to sing her Jay Chou songs for her. Debbie with her power vocals did solo on the intense ballads.

And even Bernice made her rare appearance and sang quite a number of tunes!

Other then the great singing, we had lots of funny antics too… which included fan clubs swaying lights with their handphone backlights.

The chicken dance…

Titanic…

Paparazzi…

And judging from Sushi’s expression,  goodness knows what else we did!

We had some otak too… here’s a shot of greedy Ben!

This next picture looks like it’s a close up of the Otak but actually it was suppose to capture the drool that Ben left on Debbie’s hand from the above shot! LOL…

That night gave us more than our usual doze of laughter and time passed more quickly then we expected. Even though it was the first time some of them had seen Bernice and Kelvin, everyone became fast friends.

Oh and here’s the usual photos of my outfit for that day…

You’re so proportionately beautiful! Ok, I do know those extra shots were done to feature the dress but man, oh man! It’s model standard.
On the same note, is your photographer a trade professional or simply a hobbyist? If it’s the latter, he/she must consider taking freelance jobs! I am always impressed.

Looks like the KTV you paid a visit too has a wide selection of English songs. Can you let me know the place? KBox does not offer many recent and original English sing along tracks.

Questions, questions. Tsk tsk. =P Thanks in advance!

    Ivy,

That’s a really flattering comment. *shy*

I don’t have a professional photographer but quite a number of my friends have interest in photography including myself. Will pass the compliments on =)

The KTV is Teo Heng Karaoke Music Centre in Katong Shopping Centre. The reason Debbie recommended the place was cause it’s really cheap! We got the large room but rates start as low as $18 for 3 hours in the small room (fits 2-3 pple) and drinks are self-served at $1 each. The exterior looks a little dingy but once you are in the room it’s ok and their song collection is pretty good!
