As I mentioned in my previous post on fish spa, I was too afraid to try it out with my mum. So 2 days later I brought my entire family (dogs included) there to give it a go… figuring that the more people doing it, the courageous I would be. Dinner near the area was first on the agenda.
The food there was only so-so by my standards. But it is located near the spa and that makes it very convenient. We were having dinner at 10pm… extremely late cause all of us had work and other commitments that day.
We started our spa at about 11am… this place closes at 1am on weekdays and 3-4am on weekends which explains our midnight spa adventure.
Dad was the most garang and it seems the fishes really liked him… lol… that probably means he has lots of dead skin to shed.
Janice was really scared at first. She was yelping and clinging on to everyone but in the end she got used to the sensation and was feeling dandy about the whole thing. That’s quite an achievement considering that this little girl is usually afraid of even goldfish!
At the beginning Louis was really curious about the fish pond but in the end Louis and Emmie were bored waiting for us! I’m sure they would have loved to be included in the massage session.
I tried my leg in there for a good 5 mins before giving up! LOL… it’s seems I’m still the most cowardly one of all! I can’t get pass the tickling sensation and looking at the numerous fishes swarming to me as food really makes my insides quiver. I proceeded to do a full body massage instead… abandoning my fish spa.
Mum who had already tried the fish spa chose to have foot reflexology and back massage. By the time we all had our turns with the massages and reflexology after the spa, it was 3am!!! Wow… that was a really late night family outing.
Here’s the video.
And my simple outfit for the day.
