Still on my December 2009 Christmas week super belated postings…
I spent Christmas Day lunch with the Lunch Angels of St Vincent De Paul. This time the food for the elderly was very specially catered by Mandarin Orchard Hotel’s Chatterbox! And I’m sure you’ve already guessed that it’s their signature Chicken Rice!
We also spent the afternoon there chatting and having fun with the residents. Playing Chinese chess, singing christmas carols, playing with sparklers and so on.
Uncle John, the resident which I played Chinese chess and sudoku with even tried to teach me tai chi cause he said it’ll be very good for me and for me to teach my family.
We ended the day with Christmas Log cakes for everyone!
