This may sound totally insane to you but after being away from Singapore for so long, I’m really starting to be bored of steaks, potatoes and all manners of the typical American cuisine. And all I really crave right now is a chap chye png or economy rice. Like the name suggests, it’s very affordable and you get to choose a combination of “home-cooked” dishes with rice. The photo below gives you and idea of what it’s like. It was also taken at a time I was really hungry and too impatient to be taking photos so it explains my angry face.
