Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum

Sebastian was sick and still had to report for work! So I thought I could help take his dad, Peter,  (who came down to Singapore from Sweden to visit his son) to tour a little of Singapore. Initially we were suppose to go to the zoo and orchid gardens but the weather wasn’t very cooperative and we ended up at the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum.  It was really interesting as it was also my first time visiting this temple even though I’ve heard a lot about it for quite some time already.

There was really a lot to see and a lot to learn as other than the famous Buddha tooth relic, they had several floors of exhibitions, explaining the thoughts and the formation of the religion. A really cultural rich experience and we continued the day taking a sneak peak at Chinatown. I think it was Peter’s first time having a Coconut drink!
