Boracay – Discovery Shores

We had our last dinner in Boracay at Discovery Shores which was voted by Travel + Leisure readers as one of Asia’s Top Resorts and Top Family Resorts.

The dinner was initially planned on the stunning white-sand beach but due to a sudden gust of strong wind, they moved us indoors instead. We were were hosted and presented with a “coastal cusine” at Indigo that came complete with fire dancers to entertain us while we dined.

If you visit Boracay, their fire dances are definitely worth watching!

I’ll also like to share with you some photos of their gorgeous suite in case you are currently busy planning your next trip to Boracay. Discovery Shores has been recognized as having one of Boracay’s best innovative architectural design and are known to have impeccable service.  It’s a pity I couldn’t snap photos of this place in the daylight.

They give a lovely foot bath to every guest in their own rooms.

I think that the 2 bedroom suite that can sleep up to 6 guests is gorgeous and perfect for families or a big group of friends. You can see more photos and read more about them at the Discovery Shores website.

Here’s a little tip if you do end up staying there for your holidays in Boracay. Look around the estate for a wishing stone! 🙂

Hi, did you stay at this resort? The resort looks really luxurious. Am planning to Boracay in a few months. Would you suggest to book accommodation direct from the hotel or form third party agency like http://www.trivago.sg/white-beach-146126/hotel/discovery-shores-boracay-399536 ? Because I am a little concern about the exchange rate. Since from the website it is in the local currency.

      Hi Lindy,

I didn’t stay in this resort though I viewed most of the rooms. I think you should just book from whichever site that gives you the best deal. You can check with your bank regarding the exchange rate which your credit card will be charging you.
