Bangkok

There’s so much news about Bangkok these days and not very nice ones. Luckily I took my short little Bangkok getaway before all these political protests started.

It was a girly trip and we decided to stay at Langsuan Fraser Apartments instead of a hotel. It’s a wonderful choice cause having a service apartment was fabulous! There was loads of space… 2 bedrooms… a kitchen…. dining area… living room and balcony.

Celeste and I initially wanted to do a home cook meal! Cause the kitchen was fully equipped! But after all that shopping we basically didn’t have any time to do anything!

We woke up late for the free buffet breakfast on the first day and the staff were so sweet to cook omelette…. sausages and bacon just for us!

Celeste had her first tuk-tuk experience! She really wanted to try the rail system but we didn’t have the time for it. My favorite transport is the typical hot pink taxi cabs!

One of the nicest places for dinner was at this chinese restaurant in MBK introduced to us by Clara. The servings were generous and of high quality. Even my lychee freeze had free refills! Most astonishingly, it is rather cheap! (compared to Singapore). I couldn’t get enough of the Thai super deep fried crispy egg! Looking at the picture makes me drool!

And isn’t this scooter so cute!

The service apartment is at Langsuan… it’s by Fraser Place. They have stuido…. one bedroom and 2 bedroom apartments. We took the 2 bedroom apartment for about S$200+ a night. Really cheap! You can book with wotif.com

      amelia,

I can’t remember the name but it’s on the first floor of MBK near the rear right entrance of the building where there is a money changer.
