Argh!!! I actually got sicker today with fever setting in. What a sad Easter weekend for me! =(
I drank a whole pot of barley water my mum boiled for me and it hasn’t worked any magic. I guess I’ll just have to stay in and rest more. Louis and Emmie won’t get to go for their weekly beach runs this weekend.
But since I promised to do a longer post today… here are pictures of their previous outdoor fun at Changi Beach.
They spent an entire day swimming and running on the lovely sand… having the time of their lives. Being able to run around with no one around and no restrictions are my doggies happiest times.
Weather was fantastic. Not scorching hot but not rainy either. Cloudy skies and cool sea breeze. I just sat there watching the planes from the beach while Louis and Emmie play fetch in the sea or dig up some washed up toys to play.
It’s amazing to see the weirdest stuff washed up on the shore!
A Toshiba TV! Gosh!
Huge jellyfish! It absolutely feels like a jelly… springy and soft. We buried it under the sand so it’s stinging tentacles won’t accidentally sting some poor unsuspecting soul running on the beach.
A Horseshoe Crab! Horseshoe crab are known as living fossils cause they haven’t changed much from their ancestors in 445 million years! Their blood is actually blue and are very valuable for medical research. Another cute fact about these horseshoe crab is that they live about 20 years and choose only one mate for life… how faithful!
If you want to see how the day at the beach went with Louis and Emmie prancing around, then view the video below… I’m gonna go get some rest now.
Wow! I didn’t know we can find these stuff washed ashore!!! Jellyfish and horseshoe crab. Damn cool.
