{Throwback Thursdays} Rice Fields in Bali in 2010

I can’t believe it’s late January 2015 already. I have been working harder than ever this couple of months which is why I haven’t been blogging as much. Once I get my new routine sorted out, I’ll be allocating more time to just sit down and write. To be honest, I miss writing often. Blogging has always been an outlet for me to share my thoughts and having no time to blog is almost like having no time to reflect on all the events and things that are happening to me.

I’ve got quite a few posts in the making (just have to find time to sort out my photos). Meanwhile, in the spirit of {Throwback Thursdays} and to remind myself how quickly time can slip pass our fingers, I’m sharing these photos taken January 2010 (5 years ago!) in Bali. I looked so much younger then!

Looking back on these old photos, I realised how much life has changed for me in the last 5 years. Not only in physical terms but in both mind and heart as well. Since then, I’ve become more mindful of my personal actions but also less tolerant of others’ expectations on who and what I should be.

Everyday is precious. The sum of every moment makes up your life. I want the equation of my life to be made up of happy memories, to have struggles worth struggling for, to have friends worth loving and to have love worth sacrificing for.

In 2015, I hope to be even more mindful of the daily happiness I receive, to take good care of my body and to enrich my mind with an open heart.

In case you were wondering where in Bali these photos were taken, it’s at Cafe Jatiluwin. A beautiful spot that overlooks the rice terrace fields.

Thank you for giving me a chance to share my thoughts and Throwback photos on this lovely Thursday afternoon with you.
