I’ve always be excited about aromatherapy so when I got invited to Spa Esprit at the Beauty Emporium to try out their huge collection of therapeutic grade of essential oils , I was delighted!
When most people think of essential oils, they automatically think of how the fragrances can help lift moods, calm senses and elicit powerful emotions. But it’s much more than that! I was given a small sampling of Peppermint, Lavender and Lemon essential oils to try at home and I’m hooked. I apply the Lavender oil on my pillow when I need to have a good night’s rest and it works especially well when I apply it on my travel pillow while I sleep on the plane. The Lemon oil, I sometimes add a drop to my water bottle if I think the tap water has a weird aftertaste or I’ll add it into honey for my throat. And lastly, the peppermint is fantastic for opening sinuses and airways. It’s wonderful for long tired drives home at the end of a hectic day.
