The Swiss Federal Railway or SBB, Schweizerische Bundesbahnen is really well developed and made it very easy for me to travel from one city to the next. Other than just a form of transport, it also has a lot of good offers for attractions and sightseeing destinations! If you have time and love viewing beautiful scenery from the train, you can take their glacier express train which covers 2 UNESCO World Heritage sites on a single excursion: “Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch” and “Rhaetian Railways in the Bernina/Albula Landscapes”. This is especially good for those travelling with family because kids under 6 is free and teenagers under 16 get half price! In fact many of the attractions in Switzerland have free or discounted entries for those below 16. I really enjoyed most of my train and bus rides and it was so clean and efficient! Reminds me a little of Japan rail.
