Sushi's Birthday

In my last post I mentioned shopping for Sushi’s birthday gift but I forgot to load up the pictures of us gals celebrating it at Marche, Vivocity. To be honest I hadn’t had Marche in ages cause I felt the food was so-so and generally overpriced. But I was pretty shocked to find the food rather yummy. Either they had upped the standards or I was really hungry. But I’m definitely going back again for their hot chocolate.

We weren’t supposed to be headed there but when I drove to pick the birthday girl up she suggested we head to Vivocity ( she had no idea we met up for her). It was actually kinda of a belated lunch since both Sushi and myself were traveling that month and couldn’t get all the girls to meet up on the same day.

But I’m just really glad she liked the present even though she went and bought herself a twilly the same day I did. Argh! We always end up buying the same things!

I was also really glad to see Mendy since she’s the busiest one of us all and the most difficult to get hold of! In fact I haven’t seen her around since these pictures were taken! In the end the big buzz that day was Sushi’s big rock cause she got proposed in Paris! So romantic right?
