Simple Shimmer Day

Basic pieces in classic colors are the foundation of any wardrobe and even though I love to experiment with new looks and fancy dresses, I always end up seeking out basic tops and bottoms every once in awhile. This gold shimmer cardi was sponsored to me by Lovedressy. Although they had quite a number of fancy tops and dresses in their collection 9, I was immediately drawn to the simplicity of this gold card.

Of course you could use it as a cardi but recently, when I wore it out for a tea session with my younger sister, I wore the cardi as a top and paired it with flats for a super fuss free casual and comfy outing. Later in the evening, for a more sophisticated dinner with friends, I didn’t have time to change so I wore the same outfit but spiced up the look with killer heels and a more structured bag.
