Shanghai Dinner

I always love meeting my friends when I travel and our friend in Shanghai brought us to a most sumptuous dinner at a restaurant with glass windows facing the lovely river night scene.  I can’t remember the restaurant’s name but it was on the top floor of Super Brands Mall.

We ordered more than we could possibly finish and I found out that cold dishes were customary appetizers in Shanghai. So a couple of cold dishes, some main dishes, soup and dessert and it resulted in a renzze that could barely move out of her chair! The night scene was lovely with colorful ferries floating on the river and we even saw a few kong ming lanterns floating into the skies.
