A new place to add to my foodie list in Malaysia is Restoran Spring Golden. Located in Shah Alam area, Aikee brought me for an early lunch to savor the yummy cha siu!
You get the choice of having the char siu on rice or on egg noodles and I was highly recommended to try the noodles as it’s springy and well made.
I love char siew that is gorgeously caramelized and still maintains the tenderness.
The combination was super delicious! Melt in your mouth char siew which is probably only second to the one I tried at Pudu in KL. It’s a little fatty so not suitable for the health conscience. But I believe everything is good with moderation so I don’t stop myself from good food even if it’s sinful.
Other than their famous Char Siew, they also have rost pork, duck and vegetables but we didn’t try those cause our main focus was to try the char siew.
If speed is any testament to how good it is, the next photo is probably a tell all. I cleared my plate super fast and super clean!
If you are in the area and want to try some yummy Char Siew, drop by here!
