While Marta was in town, Sushi and I decided to show her a bit more of Singapore. Sushi took her to the Singapore National Museum and to do food tasting and shopping at Ngee Ann City.

I met the girls up at Ngee Ann and brought them to New Asia Bar at Equinox to show Marta the Singapore sights from a bird’s eye view and have a round of drinks. We had to choose indoor activities cause it was drizzling that day.

It was pretty to see the setting sun from so high up and we had fun pointing out where all the places she visited. There were also quite a no. of rooftop swimming pools on those high rise rooftops.

Once the rain stopped we hurried to the Singapore Botanical Gardens. Marta really wanted to visit the National Orchard Garden.

Unfortunately we reached around 6pm and it was already closed. So we explored the other grounds of gardens instead.

There were some huge trees! Just look at the size of those roots!

I think this pink leaves are so pretty and a nice contrast with the small yellow flower. In this close up you can also see the cute earrings that Clara got for me.

And here’s a short video.
