Old School Hollywood Night

I was invited to a private little Old School Hollywood theme party at the Singapore Turf Club not too long ago. I have always love parties at the races and this is no exception.

Unlike the other major events I’ve attended at the Singapore Turf Club, this one was a way cozier and more selected crowd and we had our private party in on of the Singapore Turf Club’s corporate boxes. Every one that came dressed up in theme which was awesome!

I was super busy that day and had to do a couple of errands before attending the party. I chose something classically old hollywood theme but yet very easy to bring around so I could change into it just before the event. In the end, I wore this long red chiffon dress with a lovely vintage black head piece that was sponsored by Dustbunny Vintage.

Here are some of the accessories they had on site that the guests could use to brighten up their outfit. Most of the vintage headpieces you see were all from Dustbunny.

There was free flow of bubbly and lovely catchup and mingling with everyone while we watch the races live and placed our bets. Super chill Friday night!

To view the horses up close, we were also escorted down to the VIP area to look at the horses parade ring. At the moment, the parade ring is still on temporary grounds but I’m looking forward to see how the new renovated parade ring will look like in the upcoming Longines Cup.

To summarize the night,

Good food + happy company + exhilarating races + free flow of bubbly = endless fun and great memories.

Btw, I’ve asked and surprisingly it was pretty affordable to hold a private party like this for your birthday, corporate event or just for a bunch of people to chill out where anyone under 18 is strictly forbidden! What a way to set a tone for an adult only party!
