New skincare additions from Lolita

I love trying new skincare products and shaking up my skincare routine once in awhile. It takes about 2 to 4 weeks of try out before I would post on my blog because I want to make sure that whatever I’m trying out is throughly tested before I review. My 2 new additions in the last month is from Lolita. Although the Lolita group is probably better known for their Novalash extensions which I tried previously (and still have them on in the photos you see below), Jocelyn of Lolita also painstakingly creates awesome natural skincare products that are all made in small batches and with only the purest ingredients to ensure maximum effectiveness. I always love it when products work and is not overly commercialized. These gems fly off the shelves just based on word of mouth and there were a couple of products I’d love to try that was out of stock!

I had an extremely long day and am in my pj’s for the photos. Was ready to use them right after!

The first thing I changed in my routine is that I swapped out my makeup cleansing wipes for Lolita’s makeup remover. Although cleansing wipes are very convenient, I’ll save them for use only on travels because they usually have a high level of alcohol content that will dry out your skin and doesn’t give any additional benefits. I’m using Novalash eye pads to remove my eye makeup as they will help condition my lashes and are good to use with my Novalash extensions. For the rest of my face, I use Lolita’s Makeup remover that uses wisely selected ingredients including ginseng, apricots, orange, fresh clay and rose oils.

For starters, it smells lovely and very natural. The ginseng helps to keep your skin radient with fresh clay to draw out the dirt and oil from your pores. Jocelyn told me that apricots were selected because they have naturally smooth round seeds that when grounded, makes the perfect gentle scrub. I love how gentle the makeup remover is and that it works to remove my makeup as well as a daily scrub before I proceed to wash my face.

There have been so many good reviews from the customers and here are just 2 out of the many I’ve spotted at the Lolita store.

The 2nd item that I’ve added into my routine is the essence mist. This is my personal fave!

The Essence Mist, like the name suggests, is filled with the goodness of different essence and oil that can be found in many expensive skincare products in the market but have now all been blended together in the purest form for the best benefits in one. You can find a mix of carrot seed oil, acai berry, lavender oil, geranium oil, orange oil and grapeseed oil among other ingredients. I use this as the last step of my skincare routine or before I apply a mask as the properties of the mist helps in the absorbtion of the other skincare products used on your face.

I really love this one and is almost nearing the end of my bottle. I bring it everywhere whenever I travel as it really helps with hydration as well. I find using this mist on dehydrated or irritated skin during long flights more effective then using mineral water mists. The scent is super nice and makes me feel much fresher after!

You can try getting these products from the Lolita group. I used try because these products are made in such small batches based on the availability of good quality ingredients and are so popular that they may not always be in stock. The best way is to call and check before you head down to the store.

I like my skincare products to smell nice. Are these all natural? How long can they last?
