Louis and Emmie CNY Wishes

I’ve been back in Singapore for just a few days and my schedule is already packed! First few days were spent mainly with family and relatives and I’ll be meeting my friends this weekend! I know I haven’t posted up any of my CNY pictures yet so I’ve taken time to do so now.

CNY eve’s reunion dinner was spent in Ipoh this year. My first time meeting all my cousins from Ipoh and Penang. I’ve got tons of photos from the CNY celebrations but I’m not sure how my relatives feel about having their photos publicly online so I’ll just post this one pic with the cousins.

I don’t have any individual pictures of myself on the 1st and 2nd day of CNY so I won’t be able to post what I wore on those days. When I came back to Singapore on the 3rd day, I barely had time to take a breather and off I go to my grandparent’s place to pai nian! With grandparents it’s always good to play safe and wear red! Even if they have a modern mind set about colors to wear for CNY, it always pleases the older generation when we make an effort.

The next day I took Louis and Emmie to go pai nian at my parent’s place as well as at Shannon’s place. My dogs are an important part of my family!

Emmie wore a denim dress in red checks and Louis wore a more traditional chinese costume. The outfits are not new cause I haven’t been around much the last 2 months and didn’t have time to go shopping for new doggy clothes this year.

Louis and Emmie were really happy about visiting and were very loved wherever they went. You can view the video below to get a feel for their enthusiasm!

Yesterday I visited my other grandma’s place as well as some close friends and my CNY outfit is this oriental themed purple dress. I love the cute pockets!

So there, you’ve seen my CNY outfits for 2009!

    jac,

It’s great to be back! My dogs love company… maybe next time if you see them on the streets you could come up to us! I’ll try to list out where I got my stuff just for you. =)

My reunion dress is from Chloe, shoes from Aigner. The red dress I wore with the black ribbon in my hair is from BKK, shoes from Korea. Hot pink dress for the day I went to pai nian with my doggies is from HK, belt from BKK and shoes from FEP. The last dress is bought in Macy’s NY, shoes from Charles and Keith.
