Late night meetup

I was extremely overworked when I first got back to Singapore after taking a month long vacation to Europe. ( Just look at my haggard and tired face in the photo!) I had to really make up for being away from work for so long and was busy from morning to past midnight almost everyday. I didn’t even have time to meet up my friends and dear Sushi and Melva had to come all the way down to town one late night just so we could catch up and I can spend a little time with my godson Leonidas after my OT.

It was a really short yum cha session but I was happy to be able to spend some time with them! Godson Leo is as cute as ever and such a happy baby!

I also finally passed the Alanah Hill Hair Ribbon that Melva kept petitioning for! LOL! I had bought Alanah Hill hair ribbons for my girlfriends last year during one of my trips to Australia but I didn’t get one for Melva cause I felt that wearing ribbons were out of character for her. Melva insisted she could carry off the look and it became sort of a private joke within our girlfriends. After some teasing and even a facebook “like” poll, I told her I’ll go buy her the ribbon clip if I could still find them at the boutiques. Fast forward 6 months later, she’s finally getting her very own ribbon!

In return, Melva passed me these gorgeous and very yummy VIBE cupcakes as a thank you for attending her VIBE store opening. Such a sweet gesture (pun intended) and totally unexpected!
