It was our last night at the island and we spent it chatting with new found friends at the little canteen on the side of the hotel resort. They took us around from one end of the island to the other end.
They even showed us glow-in-the dark plankton found along the sand near and in the water. These bioluminescent plankton are really amazing and will glow in a bluish light when they detect movement. I was told that when in the water, the plankton will glow blue when fishes feed on the plankon so that it can attract bigger fishes that will eat the plankton eating fishes! That’s really cool!
