Kawaii Hello Kitty Cosmetic Set

Hello Kitty is the world’s famous cat and girls all over the world just swoon over this cute little kitty! There have been all sorts of Hello Kitty collaborations through the years and you can see Hello Kitty on stationary, toys, cookware and even furnishings. It’s no surprise that Hello Kitty makeup is the newest thing for her fans to look out for!

From the same people that brought you the Hello Kitty Diamond Gloss that I reviewed earlier this year, the Hello Kitty makeup has expanded to the full range of nail polishes, eyes shadows, blusher, compact powder, mascara, eyeliners, lips sticks and even brushes! There is so much to choose from!

For those of you who are starting your christmas shopping early, the must buy for Hello Kitty fans is the either the Kawaii Pink Hello Kitty cosmetic pouch se that comes with Kawaii Duo Eyeshadow and  and Pretty Mascara or the Kawaii Black Hello Kitty Cosmetic Pouch with Kawaii Duo Eyeshadow and Magnetic Lip gloss. Each set is only $29.90 even though it’s worth $45.80! I personally prefer the pink one as pictured above.

Of course if you can also choose the purchase the items individually or buy more makeup to add into the gift pack for your love ones.

The Tokyo Hit Blush ($17.90) is a compact blush to brighten the complexion and sculpt facial features. It comes in 5 shades of both delicate and unusual colors that comes in a Hello Kitty crystal case. It has an ultra-sheer texture with mineral pigment base. The color you see here is called Rome and this color can work for me as a blush for a sunkiss look or as a bronzer.

Next is my favorite of the lot which is the magnetic gloss ($18.90). This is a full coverage gloss that spreads brilliant and intense colors over the lips for a magnetic smile. It comes in 6 subtle shades and 2 types of finishes; lacquered or iridescent. Hello Kitty Magnetic gloss is highly pigmented, and has a non- sticky texture for a very glam look. I haven’t tried all the colors but the one I have is called Baby Lip and the color is a deep nudish pink with iridescent finish, just the way I like my lippies!

The Hello Kitty range of makeup has 2 types of eyeshadows. Kawaii Mono Shadow ($12.90) or Kawaii Duo Shadow ($14.90). I think the Duo Shadow is definitely a better deal! The 9 choices of duo eyeshadows come in matching or complimentary shades just like the felicity purple pair I have as shown above. The lighter color makes a pretty shimmery mineral over the eye shadow while the deep purple color would be great for shadowing and creating depth. These eyeshadows can be used dry or wet for varied makeup intensity.

Another basic must have in your makeup bag is a mascara and this Hello Kitty Pretty Mascara ($18.90) works to double the length of your lashes and give extreme volume through the high tech double fiber brush. There are 4 shades to choose from but the safest bet is probably the black mascara to help open up your peeper with well-groomed, longer and thicker lashes!
