I’m sure most of you in Singapore would have heard of Jean Yip and probably even tried their services before. They are Singapore’s leading hair and beauty group with 60 outlets island-wide. Jean Yip Loft is their newest addition. A all-in-one beauty lifestyle center in a 7- story building 30m away from Outrum MRT station.
The first thing that caught my eyes when I walked in were the gorgeous arrangement of flowers in the lobby. It was beautiful and made the very white lobby feel like a greenhouse garden. I was told that the flowers were all for sale and I was tempted to get some for my home!
Other than just providing beauty services from head to toe, Jean Yip Loft also caters to your lifestyle needs. On the ground floor there’s a White cafe for you to grab a bite and up on the roof top there’s a bar for you to kick back and relax with a drink or two. The best part of the roof is a Spa Pool that over looks the city and any one of their customers are welcomed to use it before or after their treatments! I think it’s perfect for couples of if you come with a couple of friends.
It’s a great place to chill and personally I think it’ll make a fantastic venue for a hen’s night. Sooth your worries away with a good massage or have all the girls get a foot rub and manicure before chilling the evening away by the pool.
The 5th and 6th floors are dedicated to beauty, wellness and slimming. Their facial and body massages are popular but if you want a unique experience, try their full body whitening, age-defying and slimming machine. It looks so futuristic and I love how it is able to target every part of your face, body and back!
The floors are all well designed to be posh and luxurious. There is a blue floor or male and a red floor for females and couples can even book the couple rooms!
I headed up to the red floor for my appointment and had a wonderful aromatherapy body massage. The therapist was very skilled and attentive. It was absolutely what my body needed and I could feel all my tensions ease away. After the session, other than the usual tea, I was served a dessert as well (how thoughtful)!
The 4th floor is reserved for those doing hand, foot and nails spa treatments. Customers can start with a foot reflexology session followed by a manicure and pedicure. Choose to be served inside any of their private rooms or if you prefer to have a view, you can take the chairs facing the windows.
As I headed down to the 3rd level, I ran into Sarah who was there to enjoy her personalized hair spa treatment. Jean Yip’s Oriental Hair Solutions is their total hair wellness section. They start their session with a one-to-one consultation of your hair and scalp before personalizing the right treatment for you.
If you are interested in anything related to beauty, wellness or lifestyle, you will find it all in this one building. Jean Yip Loft only about a month plus old only but I can see why business is expected to be really good. If you want to try them out, do give them a call at 63257307 for an appointment! PS – their prices are the same as those in the other outlets but the loft is a much better place to fully experience wellness!
Thanks to Christine and Doreen for showing me around and patiently answering all my queries. I love the place and hope to be back soon!

Lastly, here was my outfit that day.
Jean Yip Loft looks very good. I am close to exhausting my current spa package with Body Contours and the facilities tempt me to venture a switch. The only thing I dislike about the Jean Yip group is that they are very hard sell. So, if I enjoy my spa treatment only to be harrassed into buying more services/ upgrades (during and after), does it mean that my shoulder muscles return to their tensed state and the session comes to a nought?
I do respect the need to sell in business but honestly, I like to fully relax when I am receiving spa treatment. This honest opinion comes from me as a regular patron.
Ivy,
I agree! I absolutely hate hard selling it really spoils the whole spa experience. Personally I haven’t tried buying a Jeap Yip package so I’m not sure how their selling policy is like but I would usually rather pay premium for a service that I know I would go rather than pay for a package where I’ll regret cause I don’t finish it.

Just bought a facial package at Jean Yip in July, their service is good but they started pestering me for upgrade/products right BEFORE session 1 and my friend got pressurized into upgrading her package before she even started the previous package…well girls, just be mentally prepared before going there……
strayty,
Thanks for the warning. I’ve yet to buy any packages from them.
