High Tea at home

My family came over to my place and I was supposed to take them out for tea but the weather wasn’t cooperative and it started raining cats and dogs so I suggested I make high tea indoors instead. Rose chamomile tea with honey. I simply adore the cute honey pot Wendy gave me previously for helping out as jie mei at her wedding.

For snacks we had chips, butter orange cookies and chocolate cake. Not the best choices but it was all I could whip up from my fridge. Luckily mum, dad and my sister Janice aren’t picky people.

No pictures of me cause I was the photographer and I was too busy serving to remember to take pics!

I love the lovely teacups and that little honey jar is so cute! It’s nice to have tea at home with your folks, warm and cozy on a rainy day, and comfortable to just lounge around and bond. =)
