Grandparent's 60th Wedding Anniversary

My last post was about young budding love. And here I’m witness to the sort of love that I really envy, the stuff that fairytale are made of.  My grandparents celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary together with family and close friends!

60 years of togetherness is an incredible story of true love and commitment to the vows of  “till death do us part”. It would be my greatest blessing if I could live that long and celebrate my very own 60th anniversary with my dearest one.

My grandpa is now partially deaf and his vision isn’t clear but grandma is a fine figure of health at her age and pretty tech savvy! And every day, grandma takes charge of grandpa’s food, medication , baths and more. She trusts no one else to do a better job then her and I agree! My grandpa while very weak physically, has a heart of gold! He never ever complains even if he’s in pain and tries as much as he possibly can to be independent.

As my grandpa is not strong enough to venture outdoors, the party was held at their place with catered food! It was a super exciting event for them and they got to gather all their closest friends and love one to celebrate their union and their love.

I headed to the party after work and picked my sister up on the way. Here’s what I wore.
