Good Day Paris

I’m still sharing my Europe trip in bits and pieces. I realized that I’ve travelled so much in the last 12 months, it take another year before I can finish sharing all my travel photos with my readers! I think it sorta helps that I travel a wee bit less with my new job but the wanderlust in me can hardly be satisfied and I think looking at photos of myself travelling only makes me wish I’m on the move again!

Anyways, I wanted to share with you this royal blue hoodie pocket dress that was sponsored by The Cherry Tree and Birds. I brought it along with me to Paris in Spring where the hood came in rather handy in the spring drizzle I experienced.

It was a beautiful cloudy day and I stopped by Jardin du Luxembourg  which is the 2nd largest public park in Paris for some crepes and hot chocolate. And to literally smell the flowers which were already in full bloom!

Most of Paris park areas have unpaved sandy paths so I’m really glad I had on my wellies! It was a really nice day at the park and I had my brother-in-law, Aikee with me. All credits to the photos taken in this post goes to him!

There are slightly more than a hundred statues within this park and if you are a musical lover, you’ll probably remember this place featured in Victor Hugo’s Les Miserables.

Also located within the compounds of the park is the Luxembourg Place.

I love how the royal blue of my dress stands out in the photos. It’s such a comfy little piece and the hood give’s a little twist from the usual dresses. I was told that this piece was inspired by DVF. The quality of the material is good, comes with the inner white tube that I’m wearing and the nicest surprise, pockets!!! I don’t know why but I really like dresses with pockets! Such a handy detail! Like how I stuffed my gloves into the pockets so that it is easily accessible when the cold wind blows or when the sun sets.

If you are keen on this dress which they have it in 4 colors (green, pink, black and blue), then head over to The Cherry Tree and Birds at http://thecherrytreebirds.blogspot.com to check them out now! It’s only $27, definitely a steal! I highly recommend that you pack this hoodie dress for your little holiday trips as well because I stuffed it in my crazily full luggage (I was travelling for 20 days!) and it still didn’t need any ironing at all! Amazing! 🙂

      Sassy,

Thanks! I think the hood is quite a unique feature of this dress. My Europe holiday photos won’t be out so soon but I will be showcasing other previous holiday photos that I have yet to put up on the blog.
