Godson Andre's Swimming Day

The first time I accompanied Godson Andre to his swimming sessions was his very first one. Since then, to say he has grown quite a bit is probably an understatement! With his stronger limbs and bigger lungs, he is now a massive force to be reckon with both in and out of water!

Splashing water and kicking with vigor, he makes his way around the larger pool. He really enjoys the water and would swim from end to end to go after the toys he likes.

My favorite picture of the day would be the photo below taken of the mother and child. It’s such a beautiful connection and it’s impossible not to feel the love that Koji has for her precious son. I realized from both Koji and Sushi who are my good friends and the mothers of my 2 godsons that motherhood is tough but also an incredible journey.

After an entire day of playing in water (and drenching us entirely!), Andre settles in for a cozy nap in his pram while Koji and I spend some time having a good afternoon tea.

If you want to see how my godson’s swimming session went, then view the video below!

      Yan,

I heard from the staff at the swimming school that it’s just over the head for infants that can’t walk as they aren’t able to balance yet so putting their arms over the float might cause the babies to topple into the water.
