Glorious Mountains of Switzerland

I swear the scenery of looks even better in real life. These photos don’t even do justice to the gorgoeous scenery with the glorious mountains in the background and the sun light filtering through the clouds.

As I’m looking at these photos, I’m seriously having Switzerland withdrawal syndromes! I wish I could wake up to these scene every morning!

These photos were taken in Engelberg, a village of a leading mountain resort in Switzerland. The first thing you notice when you are here is how clean and crisps the air is. Absolutely pure and fresh! Next, you’ll notice the clean, sparkling and clear streams and lastly, you’ll notice how green the whole village is.

I had lunch at a village restaurant called Duke to recharge before exploring the rest of the village! Very small and cozy restaurant and the food is really nice!

I will share with you more on the sights at Engelburg in my next post! Have a wonderful Sunday!

Switzerland is a very lovely country. It also has a good business climate and its tax structure for individuals and corporations is fair. It makes fine watches and chocolate. Its people, however, are slightly insolent, arrogant and dour. I think i would be bored culturally if i was there for more than two weeks.

      Hi Fredric,

I didn’t have any bad experience with the people there. I could be lucky but I really think that there are all sorts of personalities everywhere so it’s a matter of luck who you come across that might make the experience a good or bad one.
