Gen and Brian's Wedding

Gen and Brian got married in August last year in the states and I was supposed to have flown over to Boston for their wedding but as it turns out I didn’t have to cause they held another wedding dinner here in Singapore in October.

I’ve known Gen since my JC days and even though she settled in the states, it’s nice to know that we all still keep in touch and make a point to meet up whenever she is back. Her witty and out spoken nature is exactly the same as more than 10 years ago!

Wedding dinners are also a really good way to do some catchup with old friends! I had all my JC mates in the same table and it’s amazing how far we’ve all progressed in our personal lives and careers. Yet we are essentially the fun loving people we were when we first met.

There were these customized M & Ms in each table with the couple’s picture, surname, as well as their wedding date printed on it. I couldn’t stop munching on the M & M’s the whole night while Azmi commented how weird that I was essentially eating up Gen and Brian’s face.

Here’s my outfit for that day. It’s not exactly what I normally would wear to a wedding. But it so happens that their wedding fell on Halloween Day and I had to meet some friends for Halloween celebration after. While I wanted to get into the mood of make believe, I could turn up at a wedding in total gore or in a overly done costume. So I ended up compromising for this. It was supposed to be a chinese ghost… fake blood to be added at the after party.

I like how you wear the wig. It is very becoming. I am getting this bob style for my next haircut!

I just can’t carry off wigs as they look very unnatural on me. Perhaps it’s the quality. I heard the better ones fall very nicely into place without looking fake.

      Ivy,

I can’t say I know much about wigs but this hairstyle was something I would give myself if I had the guts to chop off all my hair. LOL. If you do get the cut, share your results!
