FiDe Fashion Week 2013 - French Haute Couturier Alexis Mabille A/W 2013/14

I was FiDe Fashion Week 2013 presented by The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands on Day 9 of Fashion Week 2013, held at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre. I would have loved to have gone for all the other days as well. However, I was away in Hong Kong for most parts of October and with my packed schedule I could only make it for 2 of the shows. Still it was a fantastic experience!

Regina and I were excited to see what was in store for us! Here’s sharing the some my personal favorite runway designs of one of French Haute Couturier Alexis Mabille A/W 2013/14 collection. The collection’s mood, colour palette and silhouettes are inspired by the Italian Giovanni Boldini.Washed hues of dove grey, faded pink and mint are mixed with touches of gold and silver. Mabille created movement in his gowns through the use of shapes and volumes, with his signature bow motif applied on almost every ensemble. I have such an intense weakness for bows!
