One of my close friend, Clara, decided she wanted to learn fashion designing and will pack up her bags to fulfill her dream! She will be in Melbourne for the next 3 years! I know how hard she has worked for this and how much she’s been wanting it so I was really happy for her!
We had her official farewell dinner at a gorgeous little place called Le Bistrot that served 3 to 4 courses of typical French food. It was a day of many smiles rather than tears as we know that she is going to embark on a course that will only improve and give her the much needed burst of energy to move forward!
There was naturally, tons of photos taken that night. Mostly of food and the star of the night, Clara. I had a lovely creamy mushroom soup with foie gras, my main was Wagyu beef which was really tender and I absolutely loved my creme brulee desert. Most of my French dinners end up with me ordering that dessert!
I’m no stranger to long distance friendships and a number of my closest pals have chosen their pathways in foreign lands and I truly believe that true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. And with the ease of technology, it’s even easier to keep in touch with phone calls, BBM or Facebook.
Random note : At the end of the dinner, we also had an unexpected run-in with Taylor Swift!
Hi Karen, you looks great in the maxi, where did you get the maxi dress from?
