Cable Car Ride

Sometime back, Lerelyn gave me some tickets for the cable ride to Sentosa. I decided to bring my family on a little outing to explore Mount Faber and then take a ride on the cable car to Sentosa.

My mum hasn’t been to Mount Faber in years so she was pretty amazed at the changes and the restaurants they have there.

We took a number of photos at Mount Faber before getting into the cable car. There were some stationary cable cars there just for you to take pictures because it’s harder to take nice ones when you are inside the real thing.

Here are some pictures of my whole family. Mum, Dad and my little sister. Yes I only have 1 sibling.

And I love the picture below! So sweet!

Soon we were off to ride the real cable car. There was a long queue for the many couples that were there to take the cable car dinner ride where dinner is served as you ride on the cable car. We were not going for that.

Our aim was to just take a little trip to enjoy the scenery. After taking cable cars in so many places in the world, of course Singapore’s cable car ride pales in comparison. It’s a short ride in a rather small cable car. However, it still remains one of Singapore iconic symbols along with Sentosa.

On the Sentosa side, the IR developments were still underway so most of the scenery is of the construction. We could see that Universal Studios was forming pretty fast and it’s one destination I’ll like to go to once it’s up and running and when the initial craze has died down.

We ended our trip back to Mount Faber cause my parents rather go Vivocity for some light shopping rather than visit Cafe del Mar. Besides, I had other plans to take them somewhere fun later that night.

We were all snapping away while waiting for the valet to retrive my car. And then we were off to Vivocity for shopping.

PS- I’m letting off the blue cotton dress with hearts I wore that day for $16 inclusive of normal mail. So if you are keen, drop me a comment or email me at renzze@gmail.com

Renzze, it always feels warm to be able to bond with family ya. I loved that kinda feeling too whenever I brought my parents & younger brother out in my younger days. It would bring back lots of good memories even when we are each settled down with our own family. Like what you said, “when you put your heart to something, everything else will follow…” (I love your this saying).

Have a nice week ahead Renzze 😉

      Cheryl Poon,

Living in a fast paced urban environment like Singapore means that I’m constantly struggling to balance my time but I do make it a point to spend quality time with my family because it is important to me. I don’t have free time to spend with them so I have to make time… but when I see everyone smiling… it makes all the scarifies worth the while.

Hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your family =)
